2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Consumer Reviews

2024 Outlander SEL..never again
Worst new car I've ever purchased. The low profile tires give off terrible road noise unless your on a super smooth road. The suspension is weak...If you hit a pot hole or speed bump your going feel it and hear it..almost like there isn't any shocks. Cabin noise is very loud also..sounds like a window is cracked open when you drive. Very cheaply built in my opinion..it would be a deal if they sold them brand new for $25,000. I honestly can't wait to get rid of it. Vehicle didn't seem all that bad when I test drove it..went down hill from there.

Tech and Design Heavy Hitter
I’ve had my 2024 Outlander SEL Platinum for two weeks now. Ride is adequate and cabin is roomy. Cupholders in front could use more accessible placement. The seats definitely lack padding. So much so, in fact, I find my legs going numb after about 20-25 minutes. Just ordered a cushion online this morning. I hope it helps. Very disappointing lack of detail by Mitsubishi on what is supposed to be their top of the line trim level.

Poor Rear Camera
Mitsubishi Outlander 2024. Experiencing difficulty in viewing rear camera results. The result very hazy that sometimes makes you nervous that you may hit an object or person. Mitsubishi should consider to recall and replace the camera with a better quality to ensure proper safety. Agreed with others that 3rd seat has not enough room for adults. Even children have issue with leg room.

Surprisingly Good
I had one of these as a rental for a little over 3 weeks. I liked it so much I was very close to buying a used one, but didn’t find the right one or value in my area and went another direction.
A Uplift in this Uplander
Wife and I rented a 2023 Uplander SE for 2 weeks and 820 miles of mixed highway and suburban driving in flat Florida. Did 29mpg which is good for this larger SUV. Handling was better than I expected, with a tight turning radius making parking and maneuvering (using the camera and safety settings) easy. Seats were comfortable, except the third row really is useless other than a selling feature. Power was ok but we didn't challenge the engine on the flat roads we covered. CVT shifted flawlessly. Tech wasn't great with some annoying alarms that were distracting rather than helpful. Cruise control was jerky at times. Settings on the flat screen were pretty intuitive. Exterior styling was eye catching but a bit overdone for us (it's a matter of taste) Saw several Outlanders on the roads so it's selling down south. Overall I wouldn't mind owning this SUV but plan to check out a few other next.
