Unhappy mercedes owner
I traded this car in october 2023, because I was disappointed with fact that the Doors were light weight, too much outside sound even with the windows up and also too much sun is allowed to come through the sunroof with the shade being closed.

A small SUV with big personality
Like a Jack Russell terrier that thinks it's a big dog, this car does a good imitation of a much larger SUV. Headroom is great, love the panoramic sunroof, and appreciate the flexibility to haul much larger loads than one might think possible. Even the back seats, with the front seat adjusted for me (I'm 6'1), have plenty of legroom, and I appreciate the ability to recline and slide the rear seats forward and back. The MBUX premium audio sounds pretty great (not sure the money for Sennheiser upgrade would be worth it). And it drives great, with plenty of pep from the twin scroll turbo to get up the mountain passes in Colorado. The 4matic AWD is the best in the business and gives me confidence in bad weather getting over Loveland Pass. And while some people might not like the boxy, upright stance, I like it - - it's the utility of a GLS-class but 75% of the size. A few possible improvements: the steering wheel extends and tilts, but not as much as I'd like it to. With the seat adjusted for my height I feel like I'm reaching a little for the wheel even with it extended as far as it'll go. The 8 speed DCT works well when pushing it and at cruising speed, but getting around town it's a little jerky. I'd have preferred a 6 speed manual. Yes, with a real clutch! All in all, Mercedes hit one out of the park on this car.

2024 corrected all of the older model deficiencies
Our prior 2020 GLB 4-matic was excellent. We really liked the functionality and the look. Our only issue was with a defective key fob which was replaced by MB. Our biggest criticism was with the jumpiness when driving slowly. The car would occasionally lurch forward at very slow speeds. While we never thought this was unsafe, it was certainly not pleasant. We were also not big fans of the touchpad in the center console as some functions would occasionally be activated inadvertently. Our new 2024 GLB 4-matic is just fantastic! The addition of the hybrid electric motor has smoothed out the slow speed maneuvers perfectly. It is a true pleasure to drive. The touchpad has been removed, yet functionality remains excellent. Our 2024 GLB is faster, quieter, and more comfortable. The Burmeister stereo upgrade is also phenomenal! We love it.

Like It but Don't Love It!
I got a car with many options, Premium, Parking Assist, and many more. Steering wheel is hard and uncomfortable. I wish they gave a leather wrapped steering wheel with premium package, doesn't look like leather wrapped to me.

Looking to give it back
This car has trim lights and an interior that make it look very fancy. However, there’s no real place to put your purse, no automatic back door opener. The one I purchase has needed to have the window replaced and a faulty gas door that left me stranded because I couldn’t gas up. I’ve owned it for less than 6 months.
