Used 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Consumer Reviews
Disappointed
The navigation system is overly complicated and inaccurate. The voice control doesn't recognize anything properly, you'll find yourself relying on your phone. The acceleration is sluggish and lags horribly unless you engage sport mode. Clumbsy having to reach for sport switch all the time.

Diesel for me after 6 years
I feel the same as previous review (2)...Can not believe there is a yearly charge for Mercedes Me. Good thing I bought the extended warranty. Seems unusual that I would have to purchase ion is NOT user friendly. Why is there a charge to keep it current. Seems rude to me. "add on" parts to properly a line the vehicle... Over all however I still enjoy the great fuel economy. OLD REVIEW Tech -- not very user friendly. Wish I would have not purchased a Black vehicle -- wish it was silver. Navigat

Don't know if I would buy again
There are some simple design issues that most auto manufacturers resolved decades ago - for example the parking brake sticks. You have to get on the floor and pull it forward to unstick it. The cup holders are put too close to the console controls. Now that I've hit 80,000 miles I'm being told the head has a leak in it and that I can replace it for $8k or get a new engine for $20k. There should not be this type of engine problem on a car of this supposed quality. This car has below average milage, and has been well cared for. The trade in value is less than $16k. A 2016-17 Accord EXL is worth the same amount of money if not more. The Lexus RC 350, even with high miles is worth $3000+ over the the E400 4matic Coupe. Only buy this car just because you want it. Not because of reliability, or good resale value - As I am partial to coupes, and prefer reliability, and good resale value, my next car will be a Lexus RC 350 -

It is excellent as far as gas mileage on road trips. The ride is smooth. There could be a bitter defogging system for windshield.

Fast yet frugal
This four door Mercedes is quite comfortable for four. It is laden with technology, gets over 30 mpg on the hiway and has a cruising range of 500 miles or more UPDATE: Comfortable, great driving range, good safety features
