Bought this car used in April of 22 and would buy it again. It has been reliable and a pleasure to drive. It handles well, gets good mileage, has an amazing full retractable sun roof, and its interior is well designed with an excellent stereo system. If you don't need the size of an SUV, this is definitely a car to consider.

Old is still good! I can't even seem to replace it

I had a 17 Continental with the 2.7, but sold it a year ago for a more economical vehicle for retirement traveling. However, I've wanted a 400HP sedan for a while. When I saw this 2017 MKZ Reserve with the 3.0T come on Ebay for $6500 Buy it Now, I did my research on the seller to ensure it wasn't a scam. It had 144K miles (now has 147K), but a 1inch thick stack of maintenance records. On my test ride I determined it needed a front-end parts and the hood and bumper were covered in stone chips. I knew I could get the hood/bumper stripped and re-painted for $1200 and the front end redone for $1100. The Reserve has all the options except the Luxury Package, so...pretty loaded. And now it runs. rides and drives like new. It has the power I've always wanted, the looks of a real luxury car and a quiet comfortable ride. UPDATE 12-9-24: I often get an itch to buy a different car. I am having that now. The MKZ 3.0 has 150K on it now, and I can't find other MKZs with more miles to see if the engine/trannies are having issues >150K miles. Even with 150K miles, the car looks and runs like new. It rides like new, since I replaced the front end when I bought it for only $6500. I honestly can't find anything that has the same level of tech or luxury that won't cost 30K and have 100K miles on it already. So...I will be putting money aside for my next car and drive this one until it dies...uh...don't hold me to that. I LIKE buying/driving different cars and when I find a bargain, as I did with this MKZ, I tend to jump on them. But this car to me is worth well more than I have in it...as long as it doesn't die before 3 years.
