Great replacement for Audi Q5

I had been a devoted German auto buyer for many years (VW and Audi). German makes are fine, dependable, and luxurious with sporty handling but the kryptonite has always been the cost of maintenance. My 2015 Audi Q5 had 95,000 on it and I was facing a timing chain/water pump replacement for over $5,000. So decided to reduce those costs over the life of the car and buy American instead. I've been pleasantly surprised by the new generation of Lincolns and the Corsair has bettered my Audi in terms of luxury, handling, performance, and options. I bought a Standard Corsair used with 2,600 miles on it - it came well equipped with the equipment group, premium package, and the elements package. Compared to the Reserve model, mine had most everything except adaptive suspension and no fog lights. If I were purchasing new though, I would recommend the Reserve model for all the options and features. Highs: The ride is just stellar - super luxurious but with sporty handling which is more evident when you select excite mode. I drive it in conserve mode most of the time though as I put a lot of highway miles on it. My combined mileage has been 26 and have appreciated not having to use premium all the time but buy premium when gas prices are low. The cabin is super quiet and have appreciated the many options including ventilated seats, 360 degree camera, adaptive cruise, lane departure, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive bright headlamps that dim automatically when another car approaches. The seats are the most comfortable I've ever had. Navigation is old style but easy to use touchscreen and all the controls are simply laid out and not confusing. Ergonomics are fantastic - great for long trips. All of these features are improvements over what I would have had with Audi and at a more reasonable price mostly because I purchased used. Lows: The car sits lower so you don't get that command view if that is important to you. You sit a bit higher than a standard passenger auto but it's also not a command view. The pushbutton transmission takes awhile to get used to. Not having a stick frees up more room in the console but the trade off is that you are forced to look down and find the keys to push instead of shifting based on feel. I've had a few fixes already covered under warranty including a blue screen when in back up mode and the auto-hold function stopped working (when the car comes to a stop and you can take the foot off the brake before driving again). This wasn't a dangerous situation at all because the system notified me that it wasn't working and to just drive as I normally would. The factory Michelin Tires that came with the car are crap after 12,000 though I've gotten used to having crap factory tires on newer cars (when you buy a luxury car though, I think they should last longer). The entertainment system is ok/meh but would recommend upgrading. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. The exterior is attractive and eye-catching and sporty looking. Hoping that the reliability will also hold up with lower maintenance costs. We'll see!

The corsair is stylish with great features if you have the reserve model. But i have issue with lincoln support an not being able to fix safty tecall with the blue screen, rear break assist malfunction, 360camera recall and seat belt recall. Iv been to the dealership 8 time an the recalls still are not fixed. Lincoln refuses to compensate me fir selling me a lemon.

Deeply Disappointed

We decided to break from purchasing a foreign make and opt for a domestic make and after driving a number of mid and small sized suvs, settled on the Lincoln Corsair 2.3 and ourchased one brand new in 2020. First tear was fine. 2nd year had electrical issues and would not pass state inspection. 2023 had a recall and needed software update. This week had the following warning notices: 'Warning AdvanceTrac", "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available", "AWD Malfunction Service Required", "AWD Off", "Drive Control Malfunction Service Required". The vehicle gas 29K miles. It is driving like it has 4 flat tires. To say I am disgusted is an understatement. Back to the shop we go.......

My 39 month test drive (lease) is up soon and I plan on purchasing. I have the standard with Convenience pkg The vehicle is quick, quiet, & comfortable, Shifting is flawless even in excite mode where other vehicles usually just hang up on higher revs I have the Faux leather seats which is not a plus but very comfortable on my back even on 500 mile trip. I also have the 18 inch wheels which provides the best ride quality. I use premium gas for top performance and engine wear. I have looked at several comparable vehicles in anticipation of lease end and I think my best option is keeping it. As I read 1&2 star reviews of other vehicles as well as mine I wouldn’t buy any of them. I would be crazy not to keep the one I have . It has been perfect!

This is my 5th Lincoln. Said that to say I'm pretty familiar with the brand and what I'm getting into when purchasing a Lincoln and I really like them. What i was not prepared for was this new seating. The drivers seat almost has me to the point where all beats are off. Which is just sad and im constantly asking myself did this mistake just cost me 1000s of dollars? I can not get comfortable for anything. It makes my hip hurt. Of course I didn't know this would be an issue when I brought it and nothing stood out in the first week or so but as I drive more it has clearly become an issue. At first I thought it was me but then one of my grown kids was with me and throughout the day started complaining that they didn't like the seats and couldn't find a decent position. We've never ever had this problem in any of our vehicles so this is extremely disappointing and has us perplexed as to why or what happened with this Lincoln. I'm on a hunt now to find support or anything that can make the seat better. We've also noticed that the vehicle shakes like the wind is blowing it really hard ( and its not) when on the hwy sometimes very strange as well. If it had not been for those two issues I would have given the review all the stars.
