2025 Lincoln Aviator Consumer Reviews
Pricing
So far it’s a huge leap in the right direction!
Wanted a new pickup to replace my 10 year old truck but it’s appalling how little the auto industry has advanced in MPG in a decade. So after a lot of research, chose this PHeV. Beautiful interior, 2 weeks old and so far 565 miles before fill up. I should get at least 600 miles on this first tank of fuel. Smooth ride, love the moonroof and so much more spacious than the competing Volvo xc70 which we were eyeing and the Highlander hybrid. Time will tell if it’s reliable.

Luxurious with ongoing computer/electrical issues
We really love the Aviator and especially need the third row when the whole family goes on trips. We’ve owned it for one year and 10k miles and it’s been left at Lincoln service 4x because the third row would not go up. It’s all electric motors so it could not be put up manually. On multiple occasions we had to use two vehicles to transport 6 people. One time the entire 3rd row motor system was replaced, another time the fuse and two other times we don’t know what was done but it came out working again. So far between the recalls and 3rd row the vehicle has been in service over 30 days in a year.

Not as good as the 2020 aviator
The 2025 aviator has made some changes which areirritating. The heads up display no longer shows the temperature. On the screen, the temperature has been taken off and they put it over towards the driver instead of on the passenger side. You can no longer use the lift gate by placing a foot underneath it. The cabin noise on a highway trail is horrendous. On the plus side the blue Cruise seems to work great.

2023 Aviator Black Label…dodged a bullet it seems
I’ve always thought Lincoln has an ego of itself that is delusional for the price they want. So I used my advantage when I got a hair in March this year. I called the local dealer that I got a 2023 Nautilus 2.7 Reserve from in May 2023 for my wife and she loves it. 10 months of bulletproof operation sold me to give this a shot. I saw an 2023 Aviator Black Label on their lot and offered $10 k under msrp. The 2023 was sitting next to the 2024’s and the 2025’s will be ordering soon. They laughed at my offer and said their $5k discount was plenty. Same offer to the next dealer over the phone that had an absolutely stunning black/alpine Chalet package. They got to within $8,500 of msrp and I said pass. You can give me more on my trade in or discount it more, I don’t care how but you got my offer. I was dealing with the Sales Mgr and reminded him that all his 2023’s will be sold at a loss but, your first loss is always your best loss. They called back 90 minutes later and said deal. Judging by the reviews here and other forums the 2020 - 2022 have a litany of problems, including the Do Not Sell recall order in April 2023 to October for the backup camera issue. Mine was built in December 2023 the last month they made them and it was either a good day or they finally figured out how to build it correctly. 13k on it and like the wife’s Nautilus…bulletproof. I gave her the Aviator after a few months and took her Nautilus for work as I work all over and she puts 34 miles a day on it. Lincoln is a good product and I’ve had BMW, MB two Genesis products that rocked it. But the guy at Lincoln with the pen that price’s their product has got to be on shrooms 🤪 But I get to drive it on weekends 😁 UPDATE: Exterior proportions, shape, and design, really is a striking SUV. Got the black with the alpine white interior combination and it’s absolutely stunning. The 3 L twin turbo 400 HP engine is awesome. Ford really knows how to get the most out of smaller displacement engines. My wife’s 2023 Nautilis with the 2.7 TwinTurbo 335 hp engine has been bulletproof and moves. 10 speed transmission, 30 seat position ultra benchmark seats, 28 speaker Rebel audio are all top of the line features. Uber classy and phenomenal luxury ride is what I was looking for with some eye-popping style… This is it. 22 inch wheels look great with the 275 meaty footprint, but you feel every crack in the road with these low profile wheels. It’s a smooth luxury ride, but you pick up the harshness of the road if you get the meaning. Had a 2024 MDX advance for 14k miles and was so unimpressed with their top package and mundane 3.5 under performing engine that needs premium fuel and isn’t forced induction…wtf? In March 2024 I got bored with my 7 month old Acura and was impressed with my wife’s 2023 Nautilis and how well it did over its first year. So I picked up the phone and called the dealer. I have loved the proportions and the look of the Aviator and saw on the Internet there were 2023 Black Label discounted five grand. The 2024s were out sitting right next to this 2023 Black Label. So I offered 10 grand under MSRP for this ridiculously expensive vehicle. The sales manager said he could go another 500…and I said hard Pass. Called up another dealer five hours away that had this beautiful black and alpine Black Label on the lot. Gave the same 10 grand under MSRP offer. They got two $8500 discount and I said pass. And I reminded the sales manager that every 2023 they’ve got on their lot will be sold for a loss. And your first loss will be your best loss. They called me back 90 minutes later and said deal. Who’s ever pricing these at Lincoln is definitely doing drugs for the MSRP they come up with. It’s a freaking Lincoln not Mercedes Benz, or Porsche… Get real! The first dealer 20 miles away that wouldn’t budge off their $5000 discount, started selling theirs for my 10 K discount offer four months after I bought mine…😁
The nicest car on the road.
My Aviator is stylish, comfortable, and a real eye-catcher and a lot of get up and go. I love it.
