Disappointed
I loved my Lexus RX350 but wanted a 3rd row for passenger haul. Waited for years and finally when Lexus came out with one... it was a total disappointment. The 3rd row is non functional if you needed one. Can't even fit a child comfortably much less an adult. There is no leg room available as your knees are literally knocking on the 2nd row seats. Other than that, car is smooth to drive and would be a good vehicle if you dont need a 3rd row... I really dont see what segment this SUV is trying to attract but certainly not a practical car to own. We definitely will pass on this as there are other SUV with better design and more useful space than this. Sorry Lexus.

Great SUV with the 3rd Row
We just got the RX 350L and could not be happier with it. The ride and comfort and quality are outstanding. We drove the Audi, Infinity, Accura and BMW over the past week and this was easily our favorite of the group and it came in lower than most when comparing similar packages. I also like the look a bit more than the RX 350 with the less slope backend. The base sound system also was a real pleasant surprise ... with some slight adjustments to the balance and bass it was really surprisingly great and I love good sound. The ride is very smooth and quiet with very comfortable seats and easy to use controls including the great safety technology package. To be fair, as another reviewer wrote, the 3rd row is tight, but we did not feel anywhere near as bad as the reviewer described. My wife 5'4" tried it out on our ride and said it was comfortable with the mid row seats still in a reasonable position. This would work for our needs of 2 hour or less drives with an extra ability to fit 1 or 2 more kids or shorter adults avoiding the need for a second vehicle on the trips. There is still nice storage behind the 3rd row too. For us, this was a great choice and we're really happy with nearly every aspect of the car and would recommend it to friends or family.

Sporty and stylish
The above review is like I wrote it. I did extensive research and decided on the RXL. For my family, we loved ghat the second row seats recline and that even though you gain 4.3 ish inches, your increased cargo space is much more measurement wise. I love the fact that I am not driving a huge suv anymore, however, keep my emergency extra seats down just in case. It feels sporty and inside of the car feels luxurious. We recently packed up the car with 2 teenagers and hit the road for a weekend getaway with plenty of room for our bags and grocery items for our cabin. I have also purchased the all weather mats. Love it!!

Highest Quality Luxury SUV ever!
After looking at all of the competitors in its class, the RXL was a clear winner for us. As soon as we took a ride around the dealership as our salesman was showing us the different colors they had in the lot, we couldn’t get over how smooth, quiet, and comfortable it was! It was like getting pampered for a few minutes..we could’ve sat in there while being driven around all day! Anyways we swung for the three row version as we liked the extra cargo space and seats for whenever the entire family prefers going to dinner in one car. Also the third row is automatic folding which is very cool (something you can’t get on two row models). We also didn’t get the navigation package because it had apple CarPlay and android auto. Base 9 speaker sound system is better than average. All of the safety goodies and interior bells and whistles make this car so worth it. The Lexus smart app for your phone is cool too, you can start/stop, lock/unlock, monitor trip, fuel, miles, status, etc. Overall we are happy with it since it sits in a class of its own in terms of luxury and quality. Update 10/2023: Still after owning this RX 350L for nearly 4 years, it’s still the best car we ever owned, EVEN after recently purchasing a 2023 RX 350. This old model blows the new one out of the water in style, luxury, comfort, and quality! They just don’t make it like they used too. The new 2023 model is a lease, but our 2020 one is a keeper.
