Used 2023 Lexus RX 350 Consumer Reviews
Refined
Replaced my 2016 Mercedes GLE and I am extremely satisfied. I would rate the interiors about the same, classy and comfortable. The exterior on my RX far surpasses the GLE (which had the worse paint job of any car I’ve owned). The ride for the RX is smooth and comfortable. I also owned a 2011RX and yes the 2023 engine is noisier but I don’t notice it while driving unless I kick in the turbo charger. I will admit I experienced a lot of frustration with the bells and whistles of the safety system, as well as figuring out how to navigate the infotainment system. However, with time and the help of Lexus Utube videos, I have eliminated the annoying bells and whistles and learned to navigate the infotainment system with no problems. I’ve had the car since last July and have not had a single issue with the vehicle, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase thus far.

Don’t like gear shift
The gear shift on the 2023 is a “hot mess”. It was a bit to learn but I think the neutral position is difficult to place. It can be dangerous to not easily get in neutral. The infotainment system takes a bit to learn and can be frustrating but the sound is great

Lexus 2023 Rx 350 The Luxury SUV nightmare
The Lexus RX 350 is marketed as a luxury SUV with reliability and performance, but multiple mechanical failures raise serious concerns about its safety and dependability. This review highlights three major issues: shift system malfunction, jerking while driving, and small part mechanical failures, which not only compromise the vehicle's performance but also present legal and safety risks for consumers. 1) Shift System Malfunction: A recurring issue with the Lexus RX 350 I have is, the shift system malfunction, which can prevent the vehicle from shifting properly. Drivers have reported warning messages on the dashboard, inability to change gears smoothly, and, in some cases, complete failure to engage drive or reverse. This presents a serious safety hazard, as it can leave drivers stranded in dangerous situations, such as on highways or in traffic. If the issue is due to a design or manufacturing defect, lexus either need to recall or lemon law vehicle. 2. Jerking While Driving I have frequently experience jerking or hesitation while accelerating, which can occur at low or high speeds. This erratic behavior can make driving unpredictable, increasing the risk of accidents. The issue may stem from transmission defects, fuel system problems, or faulty software controlling the drivetrain. There are thousands of Lexus owners are complaining online about this issue, yet Lexus has not done anything about it. 3. Small Part Mechanical Failures Despite being a luxury vehicle, the RX 350 suffers from premature mechanical failures such as wipers and other small but critical components. These can range from fuel pump failures, electronic sensor malfunctions, and brake component issue all of which can lead to costly repairs and unsafe driving conditions. Conclusion The Lexus RX 350 mechanical failures raise serious safety and reliability concerns. Shift system malfunctions, unpredictable jerking, and premature part failures not only inconvenience owners but may also create hazardous driving conditions.
Accelerating fast, stabilized at speed 95
I bought this one with 10 mile reading on it. It was some noise at low speed but now it’s gone. It’s a year now with 7k miles. It runs smooth and accelerates fast feel same as my previous Q7 prestige. But when speeding only feel stable at 95 max compared to the Q7 can be 105. Other safe features are great. One I just noticed is if you get on car and door is not closed totally the car is not moving what ever you press gas on D or R. This is a great safety feature

Great Vehicle
Purchased a Lexus RX350 AWD Luxury grade with all the features. An all around excellent vehicle but the digital key is unreliable so you still need to carry the key fob.
Very impressive 👍
Everything about the vehicle is superb . Both the interior and exterior is amazing. I love the car. Nothing to dislike at all

I liked the 2022 more.
I have bought 10 new cars since 2006. The 2023 RX350 is a mighty fine car. The camera/review mirror is wonderful. But I LIKED/ENJOYED the 2022 much more. The '23 has put SO many controls into the screen, it is a mess in my opinion. Trying to find something on the screen, to make needed adjustment, is sometimes impossible. I was a 4-engine jet Instructor Pilot. Not exactly a dummy. But this car is still beyond me after 1 year and 9000 miles.

Really nice car if a bit bland to drive.
So, the car is very nice and well appointed. Materials are good and there is loads of tech. Driving was super smooth. To the point that it was like driving a very nice leather sofa down the road.

"Hard Weeks of Work"
Loved everything but the FWD!! Must have AWD for the seasonal weather changes!! The Nori Green Exterior and the Tan Interior was perfect with 0 miles!! FWD might have to be a compromise!!
Lex us Celebrate!!
Fun to drive. Smooth. Sporty enough. Technology is excellent. Setup took a little work. Still working through all the tech offerings. Some that are daily are easy to remember while others require effort to remember the usability. Took some time to learn the shift touch for neutral. Runs smoothly. Wish the gas mileage was slightly better. Overall still a great vehicle and will consider this model on future purchases.

Unexpected purchase
I went to the dealership to have my NX350 first service since purchasing it 7 months ago. I noticed they had quite a few of the newly redesigned RX350. I took one for a test drive and then 3 hours later I’m driving home with a new RX 350. Kuddos to my sales guy, Johnny, the sales manger and finally the finance manager, PJ for their patience and superior customer service.

Loving My 2023 RX350 Premium Plus
So glad I decided on the RX350. I thoroughly enjoy driving now, the cooled/heated leather seats to the tech. As I’ve seen noted, some of the tech is not intuitive. Simple fix to play around with them and/or check the owner’s manual, or make an appointment with the dealership for a 1-1 training session. I’ve been pleased with the various driver assists, too It’s an SUV with 4-person (or a 5th small person/child) seating which offers the comfort and luxury of a sedan. To top it off, the gas mileage is better than the 2014 Toyota Camry I had previously, which more than balances out the recommended use of premium gas.

Even better than I thought it would be
Chose the f sport series, white with red leather interior I love the silver metal flake in the white paint and the dark 21 inch rims The block details on the f sport in white really pop with tinted windows Quietest vehicle I have ever owned I can't express my satisfaction enough for all the technology, safety features, head up display, etc. I absolutely love everything! When it first came out people were talking about the weird controls on the steering wheel controlling things but they are so easy to operate and it shows up in the head up display and I couldn't live without them now I love the look of this SUV inside and out!

Smooth and Quiet
Very quiet interior and runs smoothly. Many extra features to pamper anyone. I love the HUD and custom leather seating, my wife loves the radio package and warm/cool seats. Plenty of legroom and headroom in the backseat.

500h F Sport Performance
Bought the base RX350 Luxury. Loved every single thing about the car except the engine noise from the new 2.4 L Turbo. Plenty of power but just did not sound right for a 65k SUV. So I broke down and traded for the RX 500h. Wow. I am in heaven. It has the same 2.4 as my former RX but has 2 electric motors. The engine note is superb. It. Sounds like a V6. The torque from the electric motors is instant and you always have torque at any speed. I have read many times that the engine note I hear is actually artificial and is piped onto the speakers. If that’s true I so do not care. The visceral experience of driving it and hearing it is amazing. If the sound truly is piped in, it would be a perfect solution to Do this same thing with the base 2.4 engine people like me are complaining about. It will change a lot of minds.
