Great value for luxury
I purchased the base model with a premium upgrade. The drive is smooth and the safety features are superb - much needed for driving in Los Angeles traffic. Although the touch pad for the technology system received subpar reviews, It's worked out okay for me. The only complaint I have is that the headrest for the driver seat and front passenger seat tilt too far inward. It was extremely uncomfortable over long periods. I had to flip it backward and purchase a headrest cushion to make it work. Now my rides are much more comfortable. Other than that I truly enjoy the car. I chose this over the BMW X3 for the value and affordable upkeep. Although I do wish the seats were comparable to the BMW X3 as well as the sunroof.

Movin on To 2021!
The NX2021 is such a zippy little SUB. Compared to the 2018 model I was driving it surges rapidly into traffic. It is seemingly quicker to accelerate and easily changes lanes to keep up with freeway traffic. I have not taken it on long trips because of COVID, but it is so quiet on my trips around town It reminds me of the BMWX5 I had before moving to the Lexus brand. The seats in this year model are very comfortable. The cabin seems wider than the 2018. It is a fun, responsive, sporty little SUV that is a joy to drive!

Major Design flaws cause AC to malfunction
Bought 2021 NX300 last year. The entertainment system and ease of use with the HVAC on it are both lacking, but that wasn't a deal breaker. What has happened is the major AC design flaw. Apparently it is exposed to road debris which can easily cause it to stop working. Since this is not covered under any type of warranty, it has costs us out of pocket to fix. If it's something I knew, I would not have purchased this vehicle. Whats worse is Lexus smug attitiude. They will not work with us other than to say "sorry about your luck" Will never buy another Lexus.

Great choice!
I have had my new car for almost 2 months. Made a great choice. Comfort, refinement and quality build. Getting used to the touch pad, do miss being able to use the screen but on the positive side no finger prints on the screen. Would choose the NX again.

New Lexus
Recently traded an Acura RDX for a 2021 Lexus N300. The car drives well and the basics are fine. I am currently involved in an argument with Toyota (the manufacturer over the discomfort of the driver's seat. When I sit on the seat it feels as if there are two hard objects under my butt, So far I am not getting any satisfaction, Toyota customer service keeps saying to take it up with the dealer and the dealer says they are all like that. Even the salesman agreed with me that something is wrong. IF all Lexus 300N seats are like that then I wouldn't recommend buying one. The car comes with four instruction manuals. Too many and too complicated.
