Ultimate in quality, comfort and reliability.
This is the fourth new Lexus that I have owned. The first was an LS430 and then we bought two GX470's (one for me and one for the wife). This 2010 LS460 has been a joy to own and drive. I have almost 140,000 miles on it and have NEVER had a problem with it. It cruises at 80MPH across the desert in Nevada and yet is flawless in its fit and finish and comfort. I can get as much as 27MPG on the highway even going faster than the speed limit. It still drives like a new car and I would not hesitate to take it cross country at the drop of a hat. It performs well in the snow (with my Blizzak's of course) and handles as well on dry pavement as it does when it is raining.

Third LS
This is my third LS. Having had 97 (still going strong with 235,000), 05 that I'd probably still be driving if it hadn't been totalled. The 09 performs great, highway mileage of 25mpg. Great in the snow. Shocks are a bit pricey at $1100 each with the air ride and sport suspension package. At 145000 had to replace the radiator and thermostat and a CV Boot. I have a 97 LS400 and didn't have to do the radiator until 240,000 miles. The 460's cabin is a bit noisy and there's a whine that's apparent. Dealer said it's not the transmission. Did have an issue with the interior but Lexus paid for the fix, eventually.

Dream car
I didnt know what all the fuss was about. I said I'd never spend this much money on a car. After test driving this I fell in love but after owning this car for 2 weeks I think its safe to say I'll never own anything else.

Excellent Japanese Quality...
Lexus/Toyota continues to impress my family and myself. This is the primary car my wife drives. I drive a Mercedes S550 (brand-new) and I cannot express the disappointment I have had after spending over $110K. I have brought my Mercedes back to the dealer over 6 times since I took ownership. Lexus? Zero problems, zero trips to the dealer except for scheduled maintenance. My other family member has a BMW 5-series. Unacceptable reliability.
Can Not Beat The Reliability
I bought mine as a Certified Car. while that costs anywhere from $1500 to $2000 more it's well worth extra $$. The extended warranty not so much based on the number of miles one drives. I don't drive a lot. The only thing I've had to do in 6 1/2 years is change oil on schedule and change batteries. I'm so sold on this car that I'm now looking for my third V-8 LS that will take me deep into retirement. Don't like the idea of a 6 cylinder big car.
