First New Car in 18 years
Incredibly built with great power. Extremely comfortable with tons of space and torque to handle any load. Great family vehicle that's a pleasure to drive. Quiet, quiet and more quiet with all the electronics you can hope for.
Head Turner
So far so good. The GX470 has a great look, and even better performance. Smooth quiet ride and surprisingly easy to manuever thru city traffic. The only glitch I have found is the mirrors tend "forget" the drivers side memory when taking the car out of reverse.

Test drive
I only test drove this truck. I own a 99 LX. Everything was great about this truck except the handling. On the freeway it was a bit loose. The 3rd row seating is comfortable.
What a great car
Purchase a new GX470 a few weeks ago. All I can say is 'what a great car.' It is well built with perfect fit and finish. Gas milage is running around 18mph with the first few tank fulls. The V8 is smooth and lots of power. It does sit high and does need HID lights.
drove everything...
We drove all the SUV's out there... the only "close" call was the BMW X5, great car, not practical with two kids and golden retriever! We drive Porsche's and BMW's as primary vehicles which have a tight concise ride. The Lexus has it too. We bought the base model and had the DVD installed in the head rest via after market... a better way to go. We traded in a Land Cruiser which served us well for 100k miles... we like the Lexus a lot more.
