Used 1994 Lexus GS 300 Consumer Reviews
Excellent build quality, fair performanc
Excellent, long lasting quality throughout the car. At current used prices, a '93 or '94 GS300 offers excellent touring comforts and potential for many more years of trouble free service at a price lower than even the cheapest compacts. This car looks great, but the 220 hp inline 6 isn't a road burner. Too bad there wasn't a manual transmission option.
fix a few things @ 100,000mile
Bought with 43000 miles 6 years ago and recently just put in about $2000. car is near perfect again mechanically. Have a toyota dealer service it at 1/3 cost on timing belt. Lexus wanted $ 4000 for seal, belts etc. Toyota did it for under $2000 (similar to Supra) with 12000mile warranty on all work. Great 10 year old car!
Lex the Best
It has an Inline- 6 Engine that keeps the car moving nicely, the design both in and out that does not age so quickly. We live out on a very rough and hilly road, but our Lex climbs it with ease. The power button is very nice, along with all of the other little extras that a join the car. There is a winter mode for the wipers, an automatic steering wheel that gets out of your way , auto- air-conditioning, a rear light failure warning light, auto headlights and many more to kept this car comprisable to new cars. The car is very quite, and has sufficient legroom. Its almost like its in control of the road which makes it a joy to ride in.
Only Italian designedToyota is beautiful
The only Italian designed Toyota product is miles better looking than anything else from Toyota.... ever!
My 93 Lex
Bought my car new in 93 and I now have 298000 miles on it. What a car, I only had 2 repairs outside of your normal maintenance (brake pads, timing belts and required oil changes) I had to replace the starter at 268000 miles and power steering unit at 272000 miles. I still love the look of this car and besides more cup holders I would not change a thing. Yes it could be quicker from 0 to 60 but once it's moving, watch out. By the way I only use an extra quart of oil between my 5000 miles oil changes.
