My new k900

We bought 2019 K900 early this year and have about 6000 miles so far including road trips. We have nothing but great things to say as the car makes feel so great every time we drive it. It is fast, quiet, beautiful inside and out, dash board is fantastic and there isn’t a thing I have complain about. In the past, I had E430, BMW, Corvett, and many Japanese cars but recently I felt that Japanese car makers are cheapening out on the materials and charge more for all options so we decide to give Korean company a try based on many reviews I read. What a car!! Oh!, many friends and family members asked us why KIA with that kind of money but once they ride inside with us, they all go “WOW”. We really don’t care much for brand names and we are so happy with our decision so far. Go KIA???

Best car that I have ever owned

I traded in my Equus for the K900. I loved that Equus but it was always breaking down. Three times in 5 years the dealer had the car for over a month to fix. The K900 is better in just about every way. Comfort, features, handling, convenience are all great. Turbos kick in and car takes off. Or you can just drive sedately. Car has so many features that my only complaint is that sometimes I forget what they all are. I just discovered that XM radio records as it plays back, so you can pause the radio and resume where you left off. Car warns you if you are exiting from vechicle and a car is coming from behind. Feature list is too long to list. 8,800 miles and so far rock solid and no problems.

I researched this vehicle over several months and could not find this value anywhere, especially with all the features included in the base price. I bought 30 days ago and got a great deal with financing (below $50,000.00). I have driven less than 1,000 miles so far, but continue to be impressed every time I drive it. My first drive was 350 miles. The drive was so pleasant I didn't feel tired like I normally do following such a lengthy drive. I now have 13,000 miles on my K900 and continue to love this car. The highway mileage has consistently been 27 to 28.5 MPG. The ride, comfort and confident handling remain strong values as does the 17 speaker sound system. I recently took my K900 to the local KIA dealer for my complimentary 15,000 miles maintenance. I was shocked to find that only "K900 licensed" KIA dealer ships could provide this service, even though the K900 has the same transmission and engine as the Stringer. The options were to pay for the maintenance ($200) or go to a "licensed" dealer over an hour drive from my home. I appealed KIA USA and was told they would respond within 48 hours. That was 7 days ago. Obviously, I am very disappointed in KIA not delivering on their commitment to support their flagship vehicle.

Great value, great ride, great safety features. The car is rock solid on the road, lane centering and adaptive cruise work as advertised. The camera images are all clear with great resolution, outstanding car for highway cruising. First oil change the dealership left one oil pan cover off completely, and only put in one screw out of four to mount the other panel, (they have to be removed to change the oil). One panel they replaced when I got back from my trip, the other was back ordered three months. Car is great, gas mileage on the highway at 70 mph is almost 30 mpg.

Buy the car not the "premium" service

Please allow me to first explain the title. When you purchase a K900 the salesman (should) try and sell you on the service as being premium just as if you are buying a German rival. It is not, do not buy this car believing this and you will be fine. Having owned a K900 for a year and a half I can tell you that neither my local K900 dealer nor Kia headquarters has a clue on how to provide a premium owner experience. Now as for the vehicle it is every bit as luxurious as it's rivals and has been by far my favorite car ever, service problems aside. It is extremely quiet, the ride is compliant and overall a pleasant experience. The car is quite quick, not AMG or M series by any stretch but for most people this car will satisfy their need for speed. My wife loves the rear seats with the reclining and heated/cooled seats. I have very few complaints about the car and they are minor. I wish the key fob had a remote start available and when you do remote start the vehicle if you open any door but the drivers the car has a count down that occurs and then it shuts off. This means if you have to hurry to buckle up children before the car shuts off which is inconvenient. I would buy the car again If I could get service that even somewhat resembled what was promised.

2019 k900 review

I have owned a 2016 and now a 2019 K900. I was involved in an accident and because Kia sell so few K900 in the United States they don't have parts. It is not a priority for Kia to take care of its Flagship owners like myself. Their 800 number is a joke and the people are rude and do not go out of their way to help you and did not get back as promised. Overall the car is not bad but is cheaply made and doesn't hold up over time. When it was brand new it was very nice it rapidly deteriorate because they cut Corners at almost every level a production. It's amazing that they put so little effort into promoting this automobile and it's no wonder given that KIA is not serious about its owners.

This is a well designed, both in and out automobile, the only fault i find is probably the result of my age, it's taking me a little longer to master all the bells and whistles

Weast a 2016 and a 2019 Kia K900. The company is poorly equipped to deal with luxury customers. They sell so few K900 that they in no way cater to their customers. My car was involved in an accident and they wanted me to wait 5 and a half months before it would be repaired. The people at Kia that we're dealing with my case where some of the rudest people that I've ever dealt with I least a 2016 and a 2019 Kia K 900. the company is poorly equipped to deal with luxury customers. They sell so few canine hundreds that they in no way cater to their customers. my car was involved in an accident and they wanted me to wait 5 and 1/2 months before it would be repaired. The people at Kia consumer affairs were some of the rudest people that I've ever dealt with. It is apparent that the Kia which is based out of South Korea is not involved with or aware of how bad the customer service is in the United States. It is obvious by the fact that they so so few K900s, did they have a serious problem dealing with the American Consumer. I would not recommend buying a Kia or dealing with this company especially for a luxury car.
