I have owned other Jeep Wranglers and this one by far has been the best! The new Pentanstar engine makes it, I have put on 33"s with a 2 inch lift and it still feels spunky when the engine decides to kick in. This vehicle is great but it is has a few things that drive me crazy.
I got a lemon.

50K on 4th set of tires. Airbag light on all the time.Check engine light stays on. 11 mpg. Rides terrible.Ask Dealer for help said no.Ask Jeep for another Jeep no response.Also the A.C.quits.2013 with only 50K these problems started when it was new.CD player eats CDS.

I bought my 2013 with 35600 miles on it for 45000. From the dealership. Even bought the highest warranty available for it. I thought it would be a wonderful time, but I was wrong. First off, my left front wheel speed sensor broke. Dealership refused to fix it, claiming I had no warranty. I had to call Mopar and stay on hold for over 45 minutes before anyone talked to me. And they weren't much help. After much debate they finally recognized that I did indeed have one. After a bunch of arguing the dealership admitted I had a warranty and still said I had to pay $500 for the insurance to even kick in. Horrible fuel milage and a terrible tendancy to fish tail in rain. The 4x4 is a joke. I got stuck in my backyard where I used to park it. Had to have my wife pull me out. Speaking of which, her 1.6 cylinder is faster than my V6. Terrible performance, terrible off road, terrible reliability, terrible service. Just a horrible, disgrace of a product. Only got 23000 on my resale value. DO NOT BUY THIS ABOMINATION!!

All of my cars have been manual transmissions, including two trucks and three cars. First of all, a manual transmission was hard to find (even for a Jeep)! Second, the worst idea in the world was to put electronic hill assist in the vehicle - this little engineering marvel is made for "mo-tards" who don't know how to drive manual transmissions. Finally, it's extremely difficult to shift into reverse because of the weird angle. I'm guessing this Jeep was designed for REALLY BIG people.

bought a 2013 wrangler unlimited with 30,000 km on it. everything breaks on it, no sooner spend hundreds on one repair, when something else breaks. I love driving it, it is fun to drive, but must be the most cheaply built vehicle out there.
