Used 2018 Jeep Renegade Consumer Reviews
Perfect for what I needed
I’ve only had this car about a week but so far it’s exactly what I needed. It’s small but, when driving, it doesn’t feel small at all. Plenty of room for my dog in the backseat. Fuel efficiency could be better, but I’ve been doing a lot of local driving so that could be having an impact.

this is my first car so i might be biased.
i like this car a lot. this is really my first car other than my family car i drove (2008 honda cr-v) until 2021 when i sold it. so all these upgrades - heated steering wheel, backup camera, etc. is very nice. the basic stuff is great. i love that it’s remote start, i LOVE that all windows have automatic features. the things i don’t like is 1.) no sunglasses holder/the middle console is annoying. it’s super small and came fir really anything because i have my sunglasses. and it has a weird long opening for idk literally only would fit a pen or a nail file. the front one by the stick shift is awkward to get into when the car is in park & its just too small and goes back too far deep into the car. which leads me into 2.) the inner console that opens and closes, is wack. you can pull it out but i still feel like it’s too short for me to rest my arm. this is extra annoying for me because this is how i drove with my honda for 10 years - with an arm rest on my right side. 3.) steering wheel is way too hot & i had to put a steering wheel cover on it to make it less intense. 4.) the heat is wack. it’s either way too hot or below room temp/chilly. i leave it on 70 & it’s not hot enough, 72 is like blazing. and i have the temps set the same for both sides. 5.) when i go to accelerate quickly, it takes a second/two seconds sometimes. 6.) i don’t like that it takes a second after you close the door for you to be able to press the lock button manually. however, i do like mr car doesn’t unlock as soon as i put it in park. 6.) weird blind spot in the back corners. the areas that would be marked as the blind spot, there’s support in the back corners. i understand but also don’t understand. i have fortunately been able to adjust my mirrors accordingly to see my blind spot with a lot of trial and error.
