Love it in black !
Absolutely love this Jeep in all black. Test drove all different kinds of trucks and SUV’s including the Bronco and let’s face it Ford tried but just couldn’t match what Jeep’s been doing for years. The exterior looks awesome but functionally 2 things stuck out immediately, the interior layout and the top removal. The hard tops are heavy and hard to remove. The soft top was clunky and the rear window didn’t open. I could go on but this is a Gladiator review. Jeep really nailed it all the way around. I originally didn’t like the Gladiator when it came out but was intrigued by its +7,000 towing capacity. Go test drive one for yourself you will fall in love with it. You get the Jeep feel with a bit smoother ride due to wheel base.

Improve a Rubicon Hard Rock? YES you can!
Originally owned a Rubicon Hard Rock.... LOVED IT! When Jeep teased the Gladiator I knew it was perfect for my needs... but is it really that good? Waited 4 years and after test driving and purchasing, I can say that it was truly worth the wait! 2023 Gladiator Rubicon took everything from the Hard Rock and dumped it on the Gladiator! 4 to 1 transfer case, 4.10 to 1 electronic locking difs / front sway bar disconnect... All of it! Even added a little touch with the off road + switch. The difference in driving a Wrangler and a Gladiator is a pleasant surprise, the same off road characteristics, shimmy shakes etc., but muted. The Gladiator rides like a pick up that is fighting you to get off the road and onto the trail. Get off the road and it smooths out like a car goes from gravel to a paved road. Smooth as silk. Improvements over the years could have been made... it's past time to flip the steering system to keep it out of the way. Trailing arms, springs, and track bar should have been upsized on the higher trim levels instead of having to swap after market. Jeep knows a winch is going on the front so it's time to put beefier stuff up front so you can add the winch and bumper without having to add to the suspension for the added weight. Winch ready bumpers are not winch ready... you have to buy the additional winch plate. After market light mounts should be standard at least on the bumper. Especially for the price paid. This is the best of both worlds... and removeable top and doors? need I say more.
