Upgrade to luxury
My wife was due for an upgrade after driving a Prius for 10 years. We chose the Palisade after over a month of test driving the Ascent, Highlander, Telluride, and Durango. The ride is smooth and the interior is gorgeous! The only issue has been wind noise, but a repair bulletin has been issued (just haven’t made it in to get done). We would definitely buy it again!!

OEM tires rate in the bottom 20%
I bought an AWD to be able to safely handle the adverse weather in my area (where dedicated snow tires aren't needed) At one point they were installing Michelin tires on their "flagship", but now are shipping with Bridgestone and Hankook tires which are rated far from "flagship" level (near the bottom of all All-Season options at Tirerack). The poor traction ratings on these may sabotage the advantage an AWD should provide. Be sure to add ~$800 to your purchase price, so you can go buy decent tires.

Transmission failure on day one
The first day I had the vehicle there was a transmission leak. Hyundai approved a transmission replacement. Waiting for the trans to come in.
Very high tech car but a lot of problem
I had the car for about 3 weeks and has 500 miles, problems occuring already. Wind noise from window, rattling/squeaky noise from seats, random noise from moon/sun roof. Dealer service is very poor. Hyundai has to do investigation on the problems that are occuring with Palisade. Alot of people are having similar issue and dealer is not taking action so does Hyundai Coporate.

Problen after Problem
I purchased this car 3 weeks ago and absolutely regret the purchase. The cars "safety features" have nearly caused three accidents in three weeks, the collision avoidance system has slammed on the brakes as I am changing lanes causing the cars behind me to have to slam on their brakes to avoid a pile up. I am still trying to find a way to disable this before it kills my family. I have already disabled the lane departure system which routinely activates when moving into a right turn lane as it apparently thinks I am going off the road and the car actually tries turn the wheel back into the driving lane. I have spent over 10 hours on the phone trying to get the Bluelink system working (which never worked from the factory). They just keep passing me back and forth from dealer to bluelink support and now to hyundai engineers who should get back to me in a week. . The car has an automatic parking break system that engages automatically when you put the car in park. It disengages when you put the car in gear and press on the gas petal., but you need to press on the petal with significant pressure which then causes the car to lurch forward. Finally twice today the cars automatic transmission wouldn't switch gears automatically as I accelerated. I needed to remove my foot from the petal and coast about 10 seconds before accelerating again. While this is a new model it is clearly riddled with issues and I have little faith that Hyundai will address them
