Door locks not working correctly

With a little over 1000 miles the car started not locking by touching the door handle. Took it to the dealership where I bought it and they told me they reset the lock module. It worked for two week. While 15 away from the car it started chirping at me no lights just a fast chirping sound. The door unlocked normally by placing my hand in door handle but when I got home it would not lock with the touch of my finger. Had to lock it with the key FOB. While cleaning my wife’s 2023 Tucson that was a few way the doors started to chirp lights flashed on the side mirrors did this two or three times though maybe the unlock button on the Key FOB was accidentally being push, do I took the FOB out of my pocket and laid it on the hood of my wife’s Tucson nope it still did the same thing. It will be round two to the dealer.

My first Hyundai purchase and I have no regrets. Tons of value with unexpected luxury from Hyundai. This car brand has really improved through the years. I got the 2023 Hyundai ELANTRA and limited trim with all the bells and whistles. Phenomenal! Averaging almost 50 miles to the gallon.

One thing I can say is I do quite a lot of compliments on my Lava Orange N-Line. The car seems to offer a lot of bang for the buck. I mean you get a small sunroof, and heated seats to name a few. People will argue you with just how fast their N Line is. It is not fast! My 2020 Altima I believe was faster. Okay, that out of the way, let’s discuss Hyundai’s DCT. I absolutely HATE IT!!! Some say there is a learning curve to it. There is not!! It plain out sucks$ I’m going to tell you why: it’s very dangerous turning into traffic as it bogs; shifts very roughly; can’t make its mind up what gear it’s in; it hesitates. I have tried all driving methods. Using the paddles with traction and stability off in sport mode offers a little better experience. My other gripe is why in the world Hyundai didn’t put a limited slip diff in, is way beyond me!! Trust me with that transmission you need it!! So back to turning into traffic, when it bogs, you have to get off gas and press the throttle moderately. As a result, you get wheel spin. Had my first service with 3900 miles on it. Dealer said transmission is fine and normal. If that’s normal, wow!! This is a deal breaker for me! All the bogging, hesitating and jerking. People actually like that?? The DCT belongs in a fancy and expensive sports car, whereas the manufacturer has perfected it. So, the trans, the paint isn’t the greatest (typical Hyundai) and differential are my complaints. Otherwise, the car is clean. Relatively comfortable giving the driver multiple driving positions automatically. I do like this. The interior and exterior blinds you with the downfalls. This is my 4th Hyundai and my last! I am kicking myself for not getting the Honda Civic SI. Yes only with a 6 speed, but I can control it unlike the Hyundai confused DCT. If you are able to test drive a N line, do so before buying. As you know, certain cars are hard to find. I had to search mine out.
