Love it
We did a lot of research before we bought the pilot. It has plenty of room and plenty of pep. Compared to the seats in a subaru outback, these seats are great. We tow it behind our motorhome and it's really easy to set up to tow. We had a minivan and even though this is a little shorter, everyone is much more comfortable and the ride is great. We don't use the 3rd seat often, but it's great to have when it's needed. This is our first Honda car (my husband rides Honda motorcycles) and we love it! Last summer we drove 5 hours to Upstate NY with two kids (one is 16, the other is 10) and a golden retriever. Everyone was comfortable and the gas mileage was 23 mpg with the a/c on.
Honda Pilot EX n/leather
This cars handling with the widetrack and AWD has been good in wet and dry highway conditions. The widetrack has to be accomodated when garaging, it's wider than the Honda Accord 4 Dr. SE I had. The acceleration is quick with a pleasant exhaust sound as it goes through the gears. It easily passes on hte mountain passes going to and leaving Las Vegas Valley. There is power to spare while passing at 80 mph on I-15. I like the higher sitting possition over the Accord 4 Dr. SE.

Pretty good all-arounder
Bought it at 45K now at 65K only 2 minor issues. Coolant crossover??? and a back light on the HVAC controls. The 4 kids (one in a car seat) my wife and small dog and I fit well enough but if we actually want to take anything with us especially for an overnighter, storage space can be tight even with the 60/40 split 3rd row. Bought a roof bag for camping/cottaging. I hate the plastic bug deflector (aftermarket but bought and installed by Honda); it vibrates and makes a very loud noise over 65 and on my second one now same thing. But I'm nitpicking, overall it's a good all round vehicle that would fit well with someone who can sacrifice a little space and just doesn't want to drive a minivan.
Pilot 2004
Once dealer worked through early transmission issues, performance is fine. I'm dissapointed that rear seats do not lay down flat! Overall it is a good auto with some minor design flaws.
