Used 2019 Honda Passport Consumer Reviews
No front legroom
I'm barely 6'1 and couldn't believe the lack of driver legroom for a vehicle this size. Deal killer the minute I sat in it. Too bad, nice looking and perfect size for empty nesters

Nice Midsize SUV
Overall, I do like this SUV. I have 62K miles on it. Still on the same tires and original brakes. The seats are comfortable. Great visibility. There's plenty of cargo room, sufficient power, and traction with decent gas mileage. It's been great for long road trips and being able to pack everything in it without needing a roof rack carrier or rear carrier. The car has been reliable although here are a few annoyances / issues. Most critical issue was auto start/stop feature that caused the entire car to shut off completely while sitting at a line of cars at a traffic light. It took about 1-2 minutes for the car to reset and restart. Discovered that it was due to a weak battery. Following this I purchased and installed a device to set the default for auto start/stop to 'disabled' as oppose to 'enabled' yet I can still enable it if I want. I also replaced the battery and have had no further incident. The OEM battery was low powered and junk. The transmission can be a bit slow to engage shifting from reverse to drive, etc. The other annoyance is with the choppiness and jerking when using the adaptive cruise control especially if a car cuts directly in front of the car. Then the car jerks and rushes to slow down. The lane assist feature works fine. I do wish that the car offered wireless Apple Carplay connectivity, that the backup camera was better with more sight lines, and that the navigation / overall system had full voice recognition for making calls and citing other requests such a mapping to a location. Finally while I average 24 mpg and get high 20's during highway driving, it would be great if Honda offered a hybrid version towards getting better gas mileage for a mid-size SUV, nowadays.

Super Honda
The Honda Passport has become a very reliable vehicle for the family. Use around town and for travelling out of town. Handling is great and road performance is comfortable. The seats were a little stiff, but have become more comfortable as time has progressed. Interior wears will and is very durable.

Let’s Go!
Great SUV! At first I thought I needed a bigger SUV, but after trying and driving the PASSPORT I knew it was the one. I’m a portly fellow and it’s a comfortable snug fit. I dig it!
