Bought nearly new 2015 with only 8,000 miles. This is a 2nd car for me used purely for highway commuting or some fun driving from time to time. It’s just me so the lack of a back seat means nothing. I’m 6’1” and the seat is very comfortable. Seat isn’t even all the way back. In sport mode it is not straight line fast, but is very quick. Steering is sharp and sticks to the road pretty well. I would classify this as very fun to drive compared to any compact/subcompact. It’s not a true sports car and all the reviews knocking it aren’t fair in my opinion. For what it is, it’s a blast to drive. Best of all, my pure highway commute using eco mode and cruise control is bringing back 48+ mpg every tank. I plan to keep this as long as possible as a commuter. Only downside for me is getting in. You do really almost fall in. Sits pretty low. Getting out isn’t bad though.

I have own seven cars in my lifetime and this is by far my favorite to drive. My car is 7 years old and it has 200,000 miles on it... I'm going to end up keeping this when I purchase my next car. Update Sold car at 206k

Sporty looking, comfy, but small.

This is a sporty commuter car, not for long distance travel. This car is a blast on the back roads handles nice and is responsive and is efficient. That’s where it ends! The car is under powered and suffers on the highway economy tanks to 30-36 mpg with isn’t awful but considering that it’s a hybrid is very disappointing. It’s a two seater with little storage and not comfortable for long trips.

The CR-Z is very sporty looking, and it probably has the Honda quality, but driving it is uninspiring. The blind spot to the rear is severe, you really need a back-up camera. The seats are low and no matter where you position the steering wheel, it blocks some of the many gauges. I didn't buy it.

This car is not very good at all. It is a death trap to say the least, and about two months after I bought it, I wished I hadn't done it. The visibility is extremely bad, and you can get hit in it if you are not paying attention to who is around you, because the bar across the back window blocks the view of the cars behind you, and the back wheel wells do too. It also has cloth seats, so don't spill anything on them that will smell, because you won't get the smell out. It also has poor blue tooth and stereo system in it, and it's only 122 horse power. Even the Fiat has more horse power than this on it's 500 and Abarth. The Honda CR-Z is a huge let down, and death trap. Honda has been slacking on all of their vehicles lately, and are no longer even a good quality cars anymore. It's seems that with the CR-Z, Honda really slacked off, and just dropped the ball. It's all about just selling cars with them.

I bought mine one for 10k with 100k miles on it, fast enough, really good handling and big trunk and good mpg

Great little car though it is small it dose have a nice feel and drives great to me. I'd highly recommend this car if you like file efficiency and stylish looks in a coup!
