No Tow, No Go
The CR-V is an excellent car; however, the hybrid version is not rated to tow. So for me, this was a deal breaker as I occasionally like to tow a small utility trailer. Too bad.

First hybrid vehicle and it amazes me
I got this before the price of gas skyrocketed and so glad I did! I regularly get more than posted mpg. I have even been able to achieve 50mpg in town! It’s the right size for a bigger guy like me (6’2”) and has plenty of legroom in every seat. The power tailgate is very helpful when you’re carrying things. Even the audio system is above average and integrates well with Apple CarPlay. The seats are fairly supportive and easy to adjust to the correct position; the sunroof is extra large and compliments the interior. Not easy to acquire these days but I was able to find a dealer who was receiving regular shipments and would sell for just msrp. Could this be the first car I keep beyond the factory warranty period? Well done Honda!

My all time favorite..second time around!!!
I liked the 2021 enough that Im buying a 2022..both EXL. I love how they ride, smooooooooth. (But not as nice a ride as my old Buick, but that is just not possible nowadays.). Its quiet, performs well. Amazing comfort. As far as the fuel economy, I get the EPA average...sometimes better, sometimes not quite as well, but it averages out. I love the LED headlights..its almost like driving in the day time, as you can see a swath 100 feet wide, so you dont run over deer or other animals. It feels very safe. The blind spot monitor, keeps you from hitting cars hidden in your blind spot, and I love the adaptive cruise control as it makes this both easy and safe to drive. As far as the "no spare tire issue: Do you have a spare battery or a spare starter motor in your car? Probably not. And, this car has no starter motor, and it does have 2 batteries..one for startup, another for the electric motors. Given this car has no alternator, no starter, and the brakes last much longer, I estimate that the no spare will "not" mean you are stranded more than average in this car. I have never been stranded in my Honda. It just always works. Dont overthink the spare tire, your wife probably would not know how to change the tire even if it had one. SAFETY is the biggest reason I bought this car, followed by comfort, and great gas mileage. It being quiet, and lots of room for cargo is a bonus.

Love My CRV Touring Hybrid
Comfortable & reliable! Handles well in town and on the highway. Averaged 38.8 MPG on a 1200 mile trip. Love the safety and tech features - they are all responsive and intuitive. There is nothing I don’t like about it - what’s not to like?

Terrible gas mileage
The gas mileage was good for the first couple of months and is now dropping to around 28. I have only had the car for 5 months. It is super disappointing.
