Excellent Value
Test drive it before you buy! It's our first Hybrid, but due to an accident, limited replacement vehicle inventory and having previously owned two CRV's (2010 & 2017) we purchased sight unseen. Overall very impressed with the SUV, but it's does make some unusual noises which gets some time to get used to. One kids says it sounds like a spaceship and can hear it a block away. Excellent tech, upgraded interior layout/function and quality standard safety features. Vehicle setup and manual can be a bit daunting if you have never had a Honda before, but once you play around with the features and setup you'll be happy. The SUV feels solid and substantial with an excellent build quality (Assembled in Ohio with 50% US sourced parts). Some exterior plastic trim seems flimsy, but that is common at this price level. Hopefully fuel savings will justify the added cost and battery performance is long lasting.

A great small suv
We have been driving this Honda CRV for 2+ years. Our overall gas mileage is averaging 38-40 mpg, above what we expected. The car is very quiet , comfortable, with good visibility, and rides well. The pedestrian warning sound (speed below about 20 mph) sounds like a spaceship, and we have grown accustomed to this sound. There is enough of cargo room for carrying groceries, etc, and larger items if the back seats are laid flat. The Touring model comes loaded with all kinds of safety features and which takes some time to get used to. This is a small SUV and may not work for a larger family, but it works well for. us. We are very pleased with the gas mileage, driving experience, and overall comfort.

Balanced
Nice blend of price, looks, fuel economy, comfort. They seemed to have fixed the noisy engine that I noticed from the 2021 model.
not the gas mileage i expected
i bought the crv awd hybrid touring for the gas mileage april 2021 and have been immensely disappointed. i drive 47 miles to work and my per tank mileage averages between 29-33 miles per gallon. hardly worth the additional cost of the hybrid engine. it seems the battery pack in the crv is too small to really support highway miles. the gas tank is NOT 14 gallons as advertised but 12 which means i average 365 miles per tank. not at all where i thought i would be. the lane keep assist weaves back and forth. the Apple Carplay arbitrarily disconnects and wont reconnect unless i run through the set up process all over again. the ride right s nice, the awd works great in rain and snow and i feel confident that car will not loose traction.

Absolutely Loving This Move to Hybrid
This is my first hybrid vehicle. Coming to it from an eleven year old car that didn’t have AC or cruise control and the ‘22 Hybrid Touring is a dream so far to have. An unexpected and incredibly impactful benefit is the change to my driving style. I love new technology. Just didn’t have it in my car for many reasons. Utilizing the technology to generate charging power had made made me an incredibly more alert driver. And I’m having fun with it boot. A very welcome plus!
