Very Uncomfortable Seats

2021 Honda Civic EX 4dr Sedan (1.5L 4cyl Turbo CVT)

The car is decent but the seats are very uncomfortable. Make sure to test drive it for 30+ minutes before buying it. Driving it for 30mins straight gives you a lower back and tail bone pain. Apparently this is a known issue amongst most civics and Honda knows about it. They just don't want to redesign their car seats. No matter how good a car is, if the seats are uncomfortable it's a deal breaker. Few more drawbacks, 1- there aren't any air-conditioning vents for the rear seats. 2- the lcd screen is placed quite low, makes you take your eyes off the road quite often. 3- No fuelling port cap (its capless), doesn't let you tilt the fuelling hose at the gas station. 4- No spoilers at at back. 5- car interior height is less. 6- lane assist isn't trustworthy.

Fun to drive, love the cargo room

This car is very nice looking and is very fun to drive and good on gas. However the material chosen for the interior is horrible. Instead of using the same material that is on the dashboard and doors they added sections of a poor quality material that attracts constant dirt. I am not a dirty person and even wiping it off with a damp cloth it is back to looking dirty and spotted within a day or two. I don't know whose genius idea this was to use this fabric. My friends had looked at it and said it's probably going to wear down quickly also. Very very dissatisfied with this aspect of the car

Worth the money

My second Honda vehicle and I almost couldn't be happier lol. The only complaints I have are minor which is why it gets 4 stars. Climate control seems to be a little anemic and I typically have to take it off of auto and set the fan higher or the temperature very low/high. Android auto keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from my phone during my drive (although it could be an issue with my specific vehicle and may take it to the dealer for work) and sometimes refuses to connect altogether. You don't get LED high or low beams unless you go with the most expensive sport touring model. Running and fog lights are LEDs, so why not all of them? Might add them myself. Since the EX is more expensive than the sport it would be nice to also have a basic sport mode, although I'm not taking any points off for it, since I obviously didn't buy a sport model. Center console also seems pretty small with all the sliding parts, and glovebox does not have a lock. Overall it's a very comfortable economic car with excellent mileage, good speakers, intuitive infotainment, and great storage space. Would make the same choice again, and all the cons are nowhere near deal breakers.

the handles and design is good, I bought new 2021 hatchback sport but started having electrical issue when the car would not start at random times. dealer stated it was the dealer installed aftermarket alarm. the alarm was taken out by the dealer contracted alarm company but the issue persisted. honda offered an inconvenience settle and said they would keep working on the issue. after taking them to arbritation they denied my claim and voided my new car warranty because the wiring was spliced by alarm company and honda was claiming I installed the alarm. they stated car must be oem for new car warranty to be valid and they would not fix it until I repaired it back to oem.

Love my hatch

I traded my well-loved already excellent 2015 Civic LX Sedan for a 21 Civic EX Hatch and it has been perfect for me from the first test drive to six months later. I was mulling around in my head whether I wanted to go with a Kia Seltos or an HRV, but ever since Honda started making Civic Hatchbacks it eventually felt like a no-brainer as a single guy with no kids that this was the way to go. The utility of the hatch is just as practical for me as any of the crossover models out there and it simply looks cooler. It drives nimbly but also has a full-size presence on the highway. The seats are comfy. Apple CarPlay is unfortunately buggy, but that was the case with aftermarket unit I had in my last Civic. The touchscreen UI is functional enough, but not the most aesthetically pleasing design. I do like the LED gauges. Overall, I can see why this car isn’t for everyone, but if you want an affordable, well designed everyday driver this one is probably for you.
