Used 2011 Honda Civic Consumer Reviews
Good car
Been good to me so far for the past two years.
Unexpected Issue
The first problem I had with this new car is a needed replacement of a front wheel bearing with only 15K miles. It also needed a realign. Now I know why CR didn't recommend the Civic for this model year.
2011 Honda Civic LX Manual
Recently purchased it new after giving 2002 Honda Civic to my son. Was going to buy used, but recent manufacturer to dealer incentive made the price so attractive that the difference between the new and recent Civic with 20 to 30K miles became almost nonexistent. I know I am biased, but I have always liked Honda for its reliability, great gas mileage, and peppiness. This car has not disappointed me. It is noticeably more powerful and surprisingly quiet compared to 2002 that I had. The manual shift is quite different from the old version, but it did not take much time to get accustomed to it; it has more sporty feel to it.
My Honda
My 2011 Honda Civic LX is a Reliable ,Small car but the mileage is DISAPPOINTING. Never got more than 28 m.p.g. even though Honda CLAIMS much higher. Very POOR customer service at both Jones Honda in Lancaster, Pa. and Robert's Honda in Downingtown,Pa. NEITHER Dealer could find the problem with the T.P.M S. or the brake light which ALWAYS STAY ON.Pretty sad,Honda CAN'T fix their own Cars. My personal Mechanic DID in about 20 minutes. NO MORE CARS FROM ANY HONDA DEALERFOR ME !

The Honeymoon Continues...Mostly
My initial thoughts were posted here a little over a year ago, and I have since put about 6K miles on the odometer. I thought I'd provide a more objective review, now that the giddiness has worn off somewhat. I'm still in love with this vehicle! It provides tremendous bang for the buck, has been trouble-free, and looks like a poor man's exotic from certain angles. I will break down and admit that the lack of low-end power has become apparent, and sometimes I feel like a show-off when I'm revving the engine alongside my fellow motorists. They think I'm trying to race them, while I'm just trying to keep up. Oh, but what a sound! One day soon these high-RPM engines will be no more.
