Used 2007 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
First Accord - Somewhat Disappointed
Perhaps my expectations were too high. I have owned three Acuras, which were of higher quality. And three Mazdas, which required no warranty service visits. This car required three warranty service visits before the 18,000 mile point. One for a blocked drain and a rattle in the dash, one for a protective cover in the wheelwell that fell off, and one to turn the front brake rotors that warped at 7K (mostly highway) miles. One of the reasons I paid a premium for a Honda is to avoid these multiple service visits. The brakes are weaker than they should be, and the handling could be somewhat more crisp. I find the ride quality to be comfortable.
Still going strong at 13 years old.
My sister bought this car used, and she pretty much treated like crap. 145,000 miles. So she just wanted to give it away, because she got a new car and I said no, I'll finish the payments off so I took over it and it has two hundred and eight thousand miles right now. It hasn't stopped hasn't given me any problems except for a little wiring issue which may have been from water damage. This is a live car. It's ready to go from Texas to a whole nother State at any given moment. I am confident in this damn car and that's why I love Honda now and I will always stick with them.. Oh and PS, as a side job I do doordash in this car and it has a lot of stop-and-go and a lot of driving. But honestly, if it wasn't a Toyota or a Honda, I don't think I could trust another car even if it's new to go through that kind of stuff.

In it for the long haul
Purchased new on 12/2006. As of 3/2010, have 147K miles. Mostly New England interstate driving. Purchased this car because of reliability reputation and high resale value. Hope to keep for 500K. Average about 30 MPG over the years with a min of 23 and max of 36 in a single fill-up. No issues with transmission or clutch, engine, electric, or body. Very reliable in all weather conditions once stock tires are replaced. Only one unscheduled stop for brake replacement. Issues: - Front brakes replaced at 30K due to heavy pulsation. No replacement since. Same with rear brakes (55K). - Stock tires not great especially in winter. Snow tires are a must for New England.
Great car
I just bought this car a few days ago and did not expect to have a luxury car but that's what it drives like. I have had two LX models and this is not the same car! VERY comfortable, great stereo, wonderful luxurious features from heated seats to XM radio. The suspension is great, very little road noise compared to the LX. Worth every penny!
Love it!!
We have had Honda's in the past. One (05 sedan) was even crash tested and approved by myself! Thanks Honda! Went to Infinti (Luxury) which I loved but insurance and maintance cost it was a no brainer $$.... I have to say after driving a NEW Kia Forte (puke) and reviewing others.. I came back to the accord for resale value and reliability!! You CANT beat it. Great Lines... great stereo! Smooth ride! Great on gas! Not a race car but it gets up and goes with out crying about it! I smile when I see it and look forward to driving it! Saved allot of money over a new 2010 focus or forte with this accord coupe!
