I love my accord!

This is a great car. Fun to drive, responds whenever you ask it to, and its luxurious, too. It also gets great gas mileage, from about 25 in the city to 40 on the highway, to 35 on the highway going at 85 miles an hour with the AC on. I love being seen in it, and the H-badge is proof that its never gonna break down. Best 22 grand I ever spent!

Too much mileage saving Hype

So far so good, but I bought the hype; and reality needs to be determined. I liked going the 5,000 miles between oil changes, I believe the mileage projection capability over promised what the car actually delivers. City driving about 24 MPH, On the highway, no Air conditioning, average speed control of 70 MPG, the mileage was 28 MPH. I expected much better

Accord Leather is cheap!

I have a 2006 Accord EX/Leather and the leather on the Accord is cheap! I wear dress pants to work and now the leather on the driver seat has little white marks (or holes) where it lost it's black color. I drive the car for about 30 minutes each day. My office pants rubbing against the leather should not cause it to lose its color! The other issue I had is the AC condenser was damaged by road debris because it is made of soft material and there is no mesh or grille in front to prevent debris from flying in.

I have owned honda cars in the past. With the gas prices the way the are I went for an economical car. Accord was the choice and honda is sill doing it right. The 2.4 has great pep and getting over 32 m.p.g. As in the past the car is fun to drive solid ride and oh yea, the air bag system is second to none. Thanks again Honda for making my choice easy.

This car has been really great to my wife and me. I have always heard good things about Hondas but never bought into the hype. After owning other new cars, the Accord has the best ride and performance.
