Used 2004 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
great car, love it
I put on 9k miles in 6 month, not a single problem. I got around 30 mpg with combined city/highway driving, very good mileage for a mid-size sedan. Great power and very comfortable. You won't go wrong with the accord.
Clunker Coupe
I have the 2003 model essentially the same. Transmission leaks twice. Tensioner pulley went out. Motor Mounts installed incorrectly. Windows being scratched by something in door. Trunk liner sagging. Rattling in back. Key is hot when you pull it out. Automatic tranny slugish after 40mph. Springs are too soft. Get some eibach sport kit springs. Steering wheel fading and armrest. Noisy idle when air conditioner on. Air conditioner recycles a lot. Paint kind of cheap. Ding city so try not to park by people. Aero line asking for dings. Don't get the Paint protector rip off! You can hear wind noise from windshield. Brakes shake a little.

Honda Forever
Went from being a Honda owner, to being a new Chrysler (nightmare) owner, back to Honda. My Honda (aside from maintenance) has never had problem 1. My daily trip to and from the office is something I always look forward to. It's comfortable, roomy for its size, handles wonderfully and even has considerable kick under the hood. I know that the guy in the Mustang GT who took off from a standing start must have been pretty bummed to see a Honda directly behind him in his rearview mirror. No lie. It lives up to all 240 horses. Go Honda, you will not be disappointed.
My Silver Bullet
I bought this Honda Accord EX/V6(MT) Coupe after owning 3 Mitsubishis. Needed a sporty car with the room of a sedan. This was the one. The back seat is actually comfortable. My only regret, that I didn't get the nav system. Spend the money and get it. 90 MPH feels like you are floating and don't forget the 6th gear... it is there for traveling. Super fun to drive, my husband loves taking her out every once in a while. She has been across the country 3 times now and done beautifully all 3 times. My husband drives a Jeep and when he stops for gas I still have half a tank and it takes 87. Overall, love the car and would recommend it to anyone!
Honda Does No Wrong....AGAIN
I've had the 4 cylinder EX with leather for about a month now, about 700 miles of driving. I cannot say enough about the car, it's just does everything right. Having driven Civics for the last ten years, the Accord is a huge step up in every department. The 2.4 liter 4 is plenty torquey (and smooth), so I had no need for the V6. That saved me a couple of grand to get the EX with leather, which feels like a much more expensive car. Everything is laid out well, and Honda adds nice touches like stainless steel interior accents and XM radio. I just don't see how they crammed this much car into a $24,000 pricepoint.
