2015 Yukon Denali - FAIL
My 2015 Yukon Denali has turned into a total money sink and GMC refuses to take actions required to deliver the Professional Grade product I purchased. I have literally spent thousands of dollars on repairs for poorly designed components that are not covered under the less than inclusive warranty or extended warranty. Most recently when a valve spring break resulted in an engine tear down and rebuild, while still under warranty, the dealer has been unable to return my vehicle to an acceptable level of quality. GM also apparently catres little about driver and passenger safety as the LED tail lights are constantly failing and are over $800 to replace. GMC had my respect until this vehicle, if you are considering a GMC Yukon I would look elsewhere and focus on a manufacturer that cares about their customers and the sale of a $75k vehicle that is actually worth the money...Big FAIL GMC!

Piece of junk for the amount you spend!
I bought my GMC Yukon slt brand new. I have had it for 3 years now. I have made so many part replacements, that at this point I cannot even remember all of them! I have spent over $5,000 over the past 3 years to repair things that were “ just out of warranty.” I paid $64,000 for a vehicle that wasn’t worth more than your standard vehicles. I regret getting this vehicle!

The SUV to have if you need the space.
I have owned many Tahoes and Yukons The 2016 Denali is awesome. It looks great and the Corvette engine with the 8-speed is a great combo. GM cars are now so technologically advanced. This is the vehicle to have if you travel a lot with people/kids. WiFi is awesome and OnStar is a must for me. It is expensive, but blows away the competition. I've owned several Land Cruisers, and I you couldn't run fast enough to give me one of those over the GMC!

Pent-Up Demand
A couple of years late, it's finally here. It was definitely worth waiting for - it's a totally different car than the previous model. I've had the car for 2-1/2 months now and have 5100 miles on it, most of them highway miles. 80 - 85 mph is no problem, and it feels like 60. Smoothest and quietest vehicle I've ever owned. Magnetic Ride Control, improved insulation and active sound management really do work in this one. Highway mileage is impressive even at high speed. Best is 25 mpg so far (over a 50 mile distance driving with the wind). With no wind mpg is around 20. In town mpg is about 14, but average city/hwy so far is 17.2 mpg. Factory Continental tires get high ratings.
2016 Yukon
I am so disappointed in myYukon. The simplest repairs are complicated and expensive. For example, I spent over 500.00 to replace a tail light. That was ordering the part and my husband replacing it. Now we need a new battery. We are on vacation pulling and RV. Simple fix right. No the battery has to have a bracket that has screws at the top and bottom. Then another brace has to be removed to get the actual battery out. This requires a long extension tool. Estimate so far 250.00 and a few hours of time. Fan in air conditioner is acting up. That a whole different story. Sorry GM done with your products. Trading this beast off when I get home.
Expensive SUV but worth it
We returned to GMC Yukon after having an Expedition as our last vehicle. The Yukon is better in all material aspects. Seats more comfortable, engine power better, noise control excellent, and we don't seem to have any of the small malfunctions experienced with our Ford: sensor lights, wrong tire pressure readings, small leaks, slow power windows, and best of all, no glare from the inside chrome! We are old school....we want an SUV that's more like a truck and less like a car, so we don't like the smaller models, and do not feel as safe in them. This is an exceptional vehicle and fits our needs and has great quality in its manufacturing. The only thing I don't care for is second row bucket seats, would have preferred the bench version. . UPDATE 2018. This vehicle saved my husband's life. He was stopped on the interstate in traffic and was hit at high speed from behind by another full sized SUV. Although heavily damaged, not totalled and has been restored and repaired.

Very nice drive with some issues.
I love the feeling I get driving this, great looking SUV. I have owned it 6 months and I would buy it again. My issues are minor quality concerns mostly. The underside of the hood on the front edge had a paint drop from the factory that could be felt when I opened the hood. All the body panels (fenders and doors mostly) needed to be adjusted so the body lines matched and the gaps looked equal. Rear bumper Fascia needed to be replaced because the gap to the tailgate wasn't even. The interior quality seems to match my Toyota but it's more comfortable to drive the Yukon. Apple CarPlay is a great feature and find myself using Siri for navigation more then factory installed one. Seats are very comfortable and controls are easy to adjust on the dash. One entertainment feature I wish the car had was a HDMI port for the TV.

Very poor reliablity and GMC Service
At 50,000 miles the transmission was replaced. At 55,000 the AC condenser was replaced costing $1000. At 60,000 miles the AC compressor went out costing another $1,000. My biggest fear is they are replacing the poor components with same design so they will all fail again at 50,000 to 60,000 miles. GMC service could car less when I talk to them about these problems on a $70,000 vehicle.
THe People mover
I had only a few minor repairs car runs smooth and for a car its size it surprisingly fast with great acceleration. Did not drink excessive gas due to cylinder deactivation system. The car sucks up whatever you want to put init.

Money Pit
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...bought new Yukon in 2017 that stickered for $68k. Had the Yukon to the dealership for all work, including oil changes & tires replacement. Brake lights go out, wireless console cell phone charger still does not work, now, my AC is out and costing me $1500 for a known defect. ALL KNOWN ISSUES but GM would not cover. Condensing unit has a known issue with leak at 70k miles. I live in the North West and did not use my AC from Oct to March, so how did I know the AC was out before warranty? But GM said it is a known issue.

Dont waste your money
So I had this 15 Yukon Denali for approximately 5 months and its been in the shop three time now for a broken lifter on the crappy AFM technology! Second time rear magnetic ride shocks was defective causing ride quality to ride like a 1980s bicycle. Third time for shifting from park to reverse or park to drive the vehicle jerks into gear hard causing the whole vehicle to shake, and to top it off a leaking XM antenna seal!! I suggest buying a foreign vehicle that'll last.

New Standards set for Full-Size Luxury SUVs
The NEW, GM 2015 model Full-size SUVs indeed set new standards in this segment. I ordered out my Yukon Denali, which currently has about 8000 miles. I have had flawless performance and ZERO recalls or issues. The 6.2L/420HP V-8 is incredible. The fit and finish of this truck is amazing and the list of features is endless. The interior comfort and quietness at highway speed rivals any luxury sedan. I compared the new GM's against the other domestic and import brands in this market. Without any doubts, the structural integrity, interior materials, options and engines were were far superior in the GM lineup. As many predict, I agree that GM will continue to dominate the full-size SUV market! UPDATE: Just passed 3 years of service. My opinion of the latest generation (2015) Denali has not changed. This vehicle has lived up to all of my expectations and has provided flawless service. The Wisconsin winter conditions that I've encountered has been NO challenge for this full size SUV. The comfort and reliability of this truck makes it a good value for the price. Certainly, a high recommendation for GM's line up: Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade! I continue to endorse and highly recommend the Full-Size line up of SUVs from GM. Truly, none of the other full-size SUVs can compare. Even more exciting will be the Re-designed GM models coming out in about one year!

Major Problems
Yukon is comfortable and exactly what I wanted. Tons of room, drives great, exactly like a $75,000 SUV should. But I have had constant issues since I purchased it. Most recent was the full replacement of the engine at 22,500 miles and 10 months of ownership. I've had seat issues, popping in steering wheel, loud wind noise coming from the sun roof. The 4 wheel drive system has had 3 issues and a recall since I owned it. The gauges stopped working, the steps get stuck. GM hasn't taken ownership that I have a lemon and this car needs to be bought back or replaced. I've owned 2 other Yukon Denali's and this has been the only one that I've ever had problems with.

2015 SLT
July - 2016 update: I owned this vehicle through January of 2016. traded it in on a 2016 Sierra Denali with 62xxx miles. Got good trade in, new vehicle cost $5K out of pocket. The only maintenance, other than oil changes was I replaced the tires at about 53,000 miles going into winter. Was a great vehicle and miss the adaptive cruise control (not available on the trucks). Have had a new Yukon SLT for about a week - hardest part was finding one - much better looking than the Chevy Tahoe. Truck has been great to date. Driving home from the dealer (35-miles) at 71-MPH on cruise, the unbroken in truck did 21.3 MPG with air on (has towing package). The only thing I miss is my magnetic ride from my Tahoe LTZ. Other than that, far superior comfortand features.

American make SUV a Great Value
Yukon 2 wheel drive SLT is a great value at $58000 you can get everything you need with all the luxury appointments no need to pay $10k plus more for a Denali! I'm 4 months out of end of 3 year lease ending December 2017. In that time I've had no visits to dealership for repairs other than a few oil changes and a tire rotation. At 20k miles the tires are at half tread also the brakes that's surprisingly good I've never had a large vehicle in this weight go these miles without needing brakes and tires replaced. I love the quality and look of the interior, the comfort ride and luxury I get to enjoy and appreciate everyday I drive the traffic in the city or on trips to Vegas, Colorado or up and down the So. Calif coast. Great gas mileage on the road, no wind noise and smooth smooth ride. I love the active safety features, subtle but effective warnings for drifting out lane, approaching vehicle ahead to quickly and side view warnings for those hanging in your blind spots. I plan on leasing on new 2018 when my lease matures. Everything I needed and expected from this model was delivered as promised. Only suggestion for improvement would be to improve the off the line acceleration. Because I drive mostly city the pedal response can lag which is mainly due to transmission lag. I believe they plan an 8 speed tranny for 2018 which should remedy this issue.

Love it, but it's not perfect
Got my SLT April 2014. In the heat of summer, started having problems with AC. As time went by, the AC was taking longer and longer to cool. Took to dealership and was told there was no known defects and sent on my merry way without any action. Short time later, AC gave out completely. By the time I went the second time they finally did have instructions. Apparently it had too much freon, factory defect. Flushed and refilled freon. AC working fine now, but I still feel there's something wrong with it. When it's on full blast the vehicle shakes, almost like it wants to turn off, but RPM'S don't change and it stops when AC is off. Have taken it a couple of times and they insist it's normal. The platform in rear is a bummer, takes up too much space, very stupid idea. In spite of everything, I still love driving it, enjoy taking road trips.

Recommendations
I love my 2016 Yukon GMC XL so much and I have only driven the Yukon XL for the last 15 years and I drove the Suburban 7 years before that. I get a new GMC Yukon XL every year or two max. I wouldn't change anything on my Yukon except the USB Port; they need to stay hot when the car is turned off to allow your cellphone or other smart items to charge while out of the car. I would like to see them add the cup size adjuster to the Yukon and also allow the car to show the speed limit on the screen so that you know how fast or slow you should be driving when you enter a street, road or the highway. Maybe even be able to set restrictions that vibrates or dings when you go over the restricted amount. For example: I would want to know when I'm driving 5 miles or more over that speed limit.

Drives great when its working
The rear differential was replaced under warranty, at 110k the transmission was replaced, the interior drivers doors panel is on the 3rd one, AC went out just after Warranty. Drives great when its working. Wheel bearing went out under warranty. Car trim came loose allowing wind to get inside. Might be assembled in the U.S.but not made here. Parts are not made to last. All the good gas mileage gone due to the frequent repair bills. Even with GM sharing in the costs these are repairs I never had to do with my 2002 Chevy Tahoe unless the mileage was at or over 143, 000 miles. I had 356k on the Tahoe and the Transmission was still good. More Bells and Whistles but less durabilit. Ordered 3rd tail light. $700 dollars. GMC did share costs when all the above went bad but it pissed me off that the quality of these parts were so compromised. Pullledcour 25ft. Flying Cloud airstream however a bit under powered for uphill climbs. Vehicle is comfortable with and a good ride. Just wished every component was made withe the intent to wear. Warranty should be 115,00 on the trans and 60,000 on everything else. Laughing my head off that they lowered the trans to 60,000 so you need to up it to 100k which in my case still wouldnt have helped me. Finally the engine died, mechanic couldnt save it. I wasnt about to put $8500 in this vehicle with around 149k on it. I have a new Ram 1500 Limited waiting to rebuilt as soon as the plant is open. I'm done with GM for who know how long. The cost of painting that Yukon was way too much.

Yukon is a Con
Have owned our 2015 Yukon Denali for about 3 years. Started with 65k and now has 130k. Probably 6000 in repairs. Struts are $2000+, LED's are $1000. Tires are $1000+ Rear shocks are $1000. Automatic running boards are a disaster. Finally found a person who could turn ONE of them off. Most recent is a fuel line leak which could have caused a fire. Navigation system chip needed replaced. Not sure I will ever purchase another GMC. Do better!

Don't buy. Mechanical POS.
GMC should have recalled the transmissions. Shifting slips all the time. Dealer admits they stink. Went to the dealer 5x and gave up. They just replaced fluids. And GM just doesn’t get it; do the right thing here. I have 4 friends with 2015-2017 models. All same issue. Just google it. After all these years, this is the best GM can do? Awful. For a sticker price of $85, sale price of $75k, this is competing with a class of SUVs that all “look good”. That’s all this one does. Apple phone doesn’t work on DVD system Or other electronics in the car. Brilliant GM, it’s only the most popular phone in the country since 2007. 11 years behind, just like your customer service and quality. Total failure, back to Toyota for me.

Great form and factor - terrible quality
I love the looks and size of this vehicle. I wanted a large vehicle for a large family + dog and powerful towing capacity. It meets all those marks. Unfortunately, this is my second GMC and quality is garbage. Falls apart after 5-6 years. For a $75,000 vehicle, you would expect better. These aren't small issues. Major repairs: - Lifters/valve springs in engine - Front axle snapped - Front struts seized - Bearing in steering wheel "pops". - Lane departure system shorted out - Automatic Ride Control / leveler - compressor shot - Air Conditioning compressor cracked - Control arm broken Update 7 years old and $91k miles: - Rear/side traffic sensors went bad (seals wore out) allowing water to enter. Shorted out entire high speed data network in car, rendering car undriveable. All instrumentation just shut off while driving! $2,400 repair - Auto-ride leveling no longer working - Now starting to high-idle. Vacuum leak or bad O2 sensor. - Vehicle components/frame rusting like crazy for just 5 years old. These are repairs costing thousands of dollars each, not hundreds. It's a non-stop money pit. Easily putting $4k per year into this car to keep it running. Given this, I'll be forced to leave the brand and buy foreign next time. 2x I've given GMC the benefit of the doubt. They just don't build a quality product.
2915 Yukon not like the prior generation truck
My truck has had major At under 120k highway miles, transmission, AC, $800 tail lights. My 03 went 180k with brakes and tires. GMC is not supportive calling it normal maintenance GMC Engineers should be ashamed

GMC 2015 Denali ***LOADED*****
Bought the 2015 Denali w/ all the bells and whistles in October 2014. At that time, the new body style was very hard to find, because it was so new. I have owned for over 2 years & have 49,000 miles on it. Have major problems when going 65 to 70-75 mph on freeway with the transmission-- while driving and increasing the speed on highway, it feels like the car "jerks" as it accelerates. Its horrible! Have taken to dealership 3X's complaining about it & they look @ me like I am crazy. I am getting ready to trade it in due to high mileage...other complaint is the usb ports--always tearing up my iphone cords. Miserable! When you plug your phone in into the usb, it automatically connects phone to vehicle...if you aren't paying attention, end up missing texts, phone calls, directions. I do love that you can use OnStar w/ directions, & remote start from your iphone...great little perk. Love the 3rd row seats and cargo...haul kids & dogs

2016 Yukon SLT
Let’s start off with how grateful I am to own one of the best years of GMC Yukon, the 2002 model which has never given me any problems nor left me and child stranded anywhere. When I say the 02 Yukon has been from VA to PA, VA to Chicago through the mountains and down to Alabama and back to VA several times over the years. I want to thank God for that. It’s still running with over 242k on the dash and very reliable. Now fast forward to this hunk of junk 2016 Yukon that I purchased in March with 129k on the dash. So boom, I only had the truck 3 months, my mechanic checked the vehicle before I bought it, the car fax checked out with NFCU. So, I thought I was good to go lol. June, I decide to take a road trip down south to Alabama and Tennessee, cool. I get to Tennessee the truck starts acting janky, no lights on the dash indicating warnings, nothing. I leave Tennessee headed to Alabama, the truck stalls on me in traffic in the mountains of Birmingham, damn near rolled back onto a cop car. You got it, terrified I am, because this truck is too nice and newer to me for it to be leaving me stranded miles away from VA. Some very nice guy helped me get the vehicle to a shop nearby where they verified it was the transmission. I’m crying cause how the heck was I supposed to get home now? Fast forward, I eventually get a tow from Bham to a town called Sylacauga through USAA. Then I had to secure another tow on my own, with the place being so rural, that tow to my family house cost me 400 bucks. Moving forward I eventually secured another tow from my family house to the GMC dealership in VA Beach for another whopping 1500 bucks. Yup, pocketbook is complaining. I have the diagnosis done,199.00 for that. The technician diagnosed the transmission needed to be replaced. So the transmission with the repairs cost me $6,279.15 to get my truck back. Yup, my pocketbook is hiding 😶🌫️ at this point. So while going through this process, I was in contact with GM. They heard my story, apologized lol, basically said that since the vehicle was out of warranty the only thing they could do was help cost assist 10% of my total repair. So they finally sent a reimbursement check of 627.91 lol to help with what? All the money I’m out of with this janky throwed together truck during manufacturing. I feel like GM has to do better when making these vehicles, stand by your brand GM. We as consumers are paying too much for brand new, certified pre owned vehicles for us to be coughing out money like this. It’s tacky and you all at GM a know that your newer models are trash and that’s where they need to go, straight to the dumpster. I don’t feel safe going on another road trip in this truck out of fears for be stranded again and having to reach deep in my pocketbook. With that being said I honestly can say I WILL NOT be purchasing another GM in the future. I’m sorry you lost me as a loyal YUKON a driver. I’m telling everybody don’t buy these trucks. Ok, now bye 👋🏽

Does what we wanted it to do
Purchased to tow a travel trailer. Very comfortable and smoothest ride of all the SUVs we test drove. Tows without issue 7000+ lbs. Rated for 8500. I like the v4 mode but wished it would do that while idle. MPG is ok considering what it is.. I get about 9mpg with trailer and 15-20mpg without it. Flaws: Like all Yukon/Tahoe/Cadillac models, the taillights have thin connections which break easily, so expect to replace the entire taillight or 3rd part repair (Or check youtube for common fixes).

Not happy with my 2015
I love the look of the Denali SUV, and have owned five throughout the years. I am a creature of habit, and always upgrade, however, I am starting to look at other options. I have owned my 2015 for two years, and since then I have replaced three value springs (which has completely left me stranded) two air ride lifters, and one part for the sunroof. With just over 100k miles, my current Denali runs horrible. Needless to say I have a love hate relationship with this suv. Sadly, I am fearful of being stranded and worry every time I get in the truck and at $75,000 I should not be feeling this way.

Used Car Buy Mistake
Bought my 2016 GMC Yukon Denali a few years ago. I have a 2010 Yukon XL that my wife and I both love, so we were excited to upgrade to a more feature rich year. The 2010 has a great ride and is a fantastic road trip vehicle. Pretty quickly realized the 2016 has problems. The ride is terrible, especially on cement roadways. Asphalt is not as bad but still not as smooth as the 2010. The suspension system is billed as like riding on a cloud but in actuality is terrible, stiff, seemingly feeling every tiny pebble in the road. GM knows this is a problem but they don't care... buyer beware. So one star removed for the terrible ride. Both tail lights have now gone out on me. This is a known problem for this model. GMC doesn't care. Now, if I could just replace a bulb I wouldn't be bothered by this. But it is an integrated LED brake tail light/break light subassembly that has to be fully replaced...to the tune of $300 plus, each. Some places are charging $450 per unit and up just for the part. I have seen others quoted $800 per light for the GM dealer to replace them. This is a crime. How could they screw this up so thoroughly and then not stand by their product. Based on the 2010 Yukon XL I was a fan of GM. Now I will not by another product given their cavalier attitude. They've screwed up both the tail light and suspension system thoroughly. Another star removed for the gross negligence on the tail light. I removed one more star due to the fact when you open the back hatch things roll out the back because of the slope of cargo area. Not as big as the first two issues, but still a nuisance. I want to love this car. It has many nice features - a great sound system, lane assist, adaptive cruise control, cooling seats, blind spot alerts, assisted braking, good gas mileage for this type of car with econ mode dropping down to 4 cylinders when 8 aren't needed. Many nice features. But the negligence on GMs part to leave customers hanging on two expensive major known problematic issues has jaded me against this car and company for good. Buyer beware if you are considering a used GMC Yukon. UPDATE: Bought used in 2020. Terrible Terrible no good ride. Now the engine has catastrophic failure at 97000 miles. Needs to be replaced for $15000+. Dealership says I'm not alone. They replace a lot of engines on the 2016 (6.2 Liter). Besides the terrible quality engine the starter motor failed at 87K miles and had to replace both tail lights at 93K miles. The tail lights are a subassembly that are very expensive. If you are thinking about 2016 Yukon think again. You don't want this trouble and loss of money.

Get rid of it before your warranty is up
I purchased my vehicle brand new, I have 130k miles on it and the motor went bad. The engine valve springs went bad about a year ago and now the piston has went bad. This is not a quality product. Please beware and do not buy or get rid of before the warranty is up

I had problems with the radio and a couple with the engine. I'd be wary of a Canadian delivered vehicle like this one.

Still Meh
As stated in an earlier review, the vehicle styling is fantastic as is the acceleration. Other than that, probably should have chosen another vehicle. Have had multiple water leaks, first from shark fin on top, then was told a seal on the sunroof was faulty. Water came onto headliner, down thru the A-pillar, thru the back of the dash then onto the floor. Also experienced electronic problems with the touchscreen freezing up, which disabled any user interface for navigation, rear camera, etc. Dealer stated it was unrelated to the water leaks and just needed re-programmed, but I'm not buying it. Will probably look to trade for a Ford Expedition or Infiniti.

Be Cautious
Almost all 2015 Yukons/Denalis with AWD are having severe problems with the transmission. Basically, if you used the AUTO setting on the drive selector the trans will lock into 4WD and never come out. GM has no fix for this problem yet. Driving the vehicle like this is unsafe and makes a horrible racket. It might also damage the vehicle. Avoid any Yukon or Tahoe until the fix is found. You can google this problem to read more about it
Unacceptable Ride!
Vehicle is great except the ride is really rough and uncomfortable. Transmission shifts rough as well. I have 35,000 miles on the vehicle and the ride continues to deteriorate to the point I am going to have to trade it soon.

Worst expensive vehicle I’ve owned
This is my first GMC product. I have owned a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee which I put 240k on with relatively no issues. I had a 2001 Expedition with zero issues, and traded it for a 2005 Expedition with no issues except the rear A/C at 140k that cost me $800. Otherwise perfect. This 2016 Yukon SLT has been to the dealership now 6 times in 2 years for brake issues twice, screen on center dash went out, A/C broke and the tail lights got so much moisture in them it wouldn’t clear without exchanging them, but yet the dealership said it was totally normal. What? A few other things: The accelerator really bugs me. It is difficult to push down which gives the impression the car is bogging down. The auto back seat fold option doesn’t fold the seats all the way flat. And the worst, it’s a huge pain to try and get a loner car at GMC. My Acura MDX was super easy to service, always had a loaner available at no charge and cleaned my car every time. By the way, that car was $20k less than a Yukon! I despise this car and GMC sucks as a dealership, but my wife wants to keep it. If it were up to me, this thing would be gone tomorrow. Problem is, not much choice for full sized SUVs. I see myself buying another Ford in the next couple of years.

AWD went out twice in 6 months
Nice vehicle, but twice the vehicle got stuck in AWD due to technology glitches. On my most current event, it was a 45 minute software reprogram fix. After 3 hours the dealer finally offered a rental car to get me on the way because they cannot seem to get it working. My gut is telling me that the technicians are simply not trained in dealing with the complexities. I say this because the same issue resulted in almost the same result. i.e. after a period of time, they finally gave me a rental car and I got my car back 4 days later. Very frustrating and I would warn potential purchases about the AWD issue.

Still the Best Vehicle I have ever had
My 2015 Yukon Denali is simply the best vehicle I have ever owned, 60K mile and no break fix repairs or complaints other than the price but, I guess, the quality is what I paid for! I have had most of the big time cars such as Cadillacs and Mercedes but this vehicle is the best and its a truck with all the cargo capacity to boot. It is quiet, has a great entertainment system, the iPhone also hooks up to the system which never happens in my wife's Ford, huge acceleration, great traction, what more can i say

Still can’t get it right
I give up. I have owned 6 big GM SUV’s. This was the worst. For starters this vehicle came with Apple care play and a wireless phone charger which was not compatible with Apple products. The rain sensing wipers never worked properly because of poor design and poor sensitivity. The outside thermometer would read 70 degrees when it was 100 outside. The vehicle came with defective leather drivers seat and a 3rd row seat that had to be replaced because of continuous rattle. The backup camera was low resolution and useless at night. The car fell apart just after the warranty expired. The compass broke $1000 to repair. The air conditioner condenser failed $2000. The hepatic seat motor broke. There have been numerous recalls and several known problems from previous design flaws. Replacing the battery was an ordeal. Traded in for a new Jeep months ago and still getting service warnings about new problems on my phone app.
My denali
If you like it get it.

The ONLY good out of Hurricane Harvey
If it’s a full size SUV you’re looking for, this could be the one for you. I’ve owned a 2000 Lincoln Navigator, a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe and now a GMC Yukon and I’m really in love with this Yukon. It’s much larger than my previous SUV’s and drives like a dream. Technology sure has improved since my last SUV purchase...a lot to learn but a long over due challenge.

Beautiful clean suv. Ride nice
Make sure the dealer shows you how to work and understand all the tec stuff these trucks have.
Let's take a road trip!
Outstanding vehicle, perfect for traveling. Good looks, and performs just as well. Dash information is cumberson for driver, but there is a lot of it. Great improvement over prior models.

Piece of poop !!!
My 2015 Yukon Denali is just beautiful . Except for the paint fading away on top of the hood, and of course the plastic around every door behind widows coming off. And let me see there is the tail light problems and ac problems and rough ride that has shown up. And now let see about the safety sincere’s that have decided to start massaging my butt at all times. Yep !! It’s a dandy all right! I tried to sell it to the ten year old down the street and he did want it either !!! I guess he liked his skate board better. So did I ! Yep you got me good GMC. Slippery Boys.

Blown away
Coming from a 2015 Honda Pilot EX-L, the Denali is like moving from the middle of Wisconsin to Abu Dhabi... this thing has it all!! It's a blast to drive and is top notch on comfort. The materials inside the cabin are all soft and pleasing to the eye. The safety features are what really sold us on it. The haptic feedback in the seat warns you of any possible collisions and monitors front, back and sides at all times. I would suggest this vehicle to anyone looking for class and comfort.

So many issues!!
Do not buy this car. Within owning it for a week (80,000 miles on it when I purchased) I had to bring it back to get lifters $1800. Then my transmission went 2 months after that. Then my air suspension completely went out in the entire car within the first year. At that point I needed to replace the lifters again. They have glitches when shifting from V4-v6 and the lifters go. The air suspension and lifters had already been replaced once before I purchased my car as well. This thing never ran correctly. Stay away! Get a Tahoe or anything else instead. Maybe a newer year?

Yukon XL
Very satisfied . It has met every expectation.
Owned my 2016 Yukon SLT for 4 1/2 years
Bought it used 1 yr old with 34k miles on it and now have 94k miles. Overall excellent rating for power, handling and gas mileage. I do pull a 6400 Lb. camper with it and it does lack power in the mountains pulling that but on the road and in town I am very pleased with normal travel.
