I leased a new 2017 GMC Terrain and just turned it in. Was thinking about buying it out for the residual price but was upside down on it by around $4K. Not a great choice. Thank goodbess for leasing.

This vehicle is the worst gm I've ever owned, nothing but headaches. Doors freezing shut heavy oil consumption totally garbage and dumping it as soon as possible next year

I like the driving experience but hate the unreliable engine, had to have it towed 3 times , the last time cost me over $3500. Timing chain snapped causing bent valves….only 60.000 miles. Worst vehicle I ever had.

@017... our third Terrain. Love it 165K miles and my wife drives 100/day. never expected to keep it this long.................

I purchased this vehicle and it was the worst mistake EVER. It's had transmission, engine, battery and alternator issues. I've had to have engine work done multiple times, just in the last 2 years have spent almost $9k on repairs. Finally just got rid of it. I just couldn't keep putting more money into it.

Bought with the intent to “trade up” but before even driving off the lot my check engine light came on. The first week I had it it died twice on me due to a “bad battery” (I’m suspect it was something else but I’m not the expert). For a suv I expected more horse power, just overall more. Connectivity with my iPhone sucks and has gotten worse. Other random electric related glitches or twitches that have resolved themselves after a few days from happening. It brake checks me when I use cruise control with absolutely nothing in front of me!! Terrible pick up on the highway. It is a smooth ride with a nice interior, I have leather seats. All this with less than 4 months of ownership. If it didn’t brake check me I’d stick it out but it’s the main reason I’m trading or selling back as soon as I can.

V6 has great pick up. Breezed through the Appalachain Mts a couple years ago. Spacious front and back seats. Someone 7" tall could easily fit! Handles great in the snow. Just over 70k miles no issues at all. Highly recommend !!
