"A Real Full-Size Road Car"

This is America's full size road car. I rented it several times during work travel then went out and purchased it. I also rented the 300 and Impala, several SUV's. But I prefer the road car and the Taurus is the best bang for the buck. It's actually the largest of the three by an inch all around, slightly higher beem, and heaviest.. It has the best safety rating. But for me it came down to road comfort for my self, family, associates, and golf friends. Most of my male associates are 6' plus and tip 200. You get the leg room, head room and ease of getting in and out. This Taurus is smooth, has a huge trunk, 4 golf bags luggage, kitchensink and other.. I can see why law enforcement guys have it. The technology is good+, power train, engine very good, and I'd recommend the 4 wheel drive if you can get it (Midwest winters). On open road and Hi-way you feel secure and "King of the Road", rain and stiff winds are minor concerns. Excellent freeway mileage, not great local driving. As a salesman I love this thing. Heard Ford may be retooling w new design in a year or two. Anxious to see it. The 2017 may be a good value if considering. Lot of car for the money. No issues at all, 2+ years

I have a 2015 SEL Taurus! Too many blind spots with smaller windows like the very old Taurus before they put the name on the Ford Five Hundred. It was more roomier than the Ford Taurus now. It handles great in rain, snow, & ice! Most comfortable of the Sel. It is more expensive buying it new. I love the warm bummers and the a/c bummers. Love the wipers coming on automatic and the dimmer on and off automatic. Very low MPG.

Left foot very uncomfortable. No space for someone 6 foot. Make sure you are aware of this during the test drive. Now I'm stuck and can't stretch my left leg.

The 2015 Taurus SEL AWD Stickered at $36K. I wanted the new Mustang....trade in value at dealer $20k -- 50% depreciation in one year and 11k miles
