Used 2006 Ford Mustang GT Deluxe 2dr Coupe (4.6L 8cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Solid, Fun to Drive, Even Fuel Efficient
This was a fulfillment of a high school dream, only with better MPG than the 1965 Mustang! Excellent handling, Excellent gas mileage considering you have 300HP at your disposal.
178,000 miles, and I dogged this car out.
Had my car since 06, I have a heavy foot, and have rag dogged this car since purchase. I had to replace the clutch twice and flywheel once because I races alot lol, but got performance parts my 2nd round and had no issues. Never had issue with motor or tranny, never had to replace struts or shocks. Tie end rods were replaced, and all the normal brake stuff. In my opinion this year mustang is the best mustang ever built for realiability, if you take care of it (I half ass did) you can expect to crank and go for 200,000 plus before issues

Mustang Legacy Owner!
My Uncle bought my 2006 Mustang GT brand new, drove it for a couple years and parked it. Fast forward to 2016, he passed away and left the car to me at the age of 18. After a battery, a fresh tank of fuel and priming the oil system the car started without missing a beat. It sees almost daily use during the summer for road trips and has almost 100k miles! Maintenance has been basic with the only major repair being the alternator at about 80k miles. My only complaint about the car was the factory exhaust was too quiet. But, Borla takes care of that with their ATAK system and now it sounds like it looks!
