Still a wolf!
Almost a year now since I bought the car, only has 6500 miles total, it's not my daily driver. It's garage-kept, only driven on dry sunny days, it's my 4-door sports car! In the course of the last 10 months or so, I've seen MAYBE 2 other Fusion Sports on the road. Still think Ford did a VERY poor job at marketing this car, and now that they're going to be like GMC and sell only trucks / SUVs / Mustangs, my Fusion will be a relic in no time. However, since Ford sold a bunch of Fusions, my Sport should be even more of a rarity than it already is. Car is comfortable, quiet, has enough bells and whistles to keep me entertained, and with the 93 octane tune, bigger intercooler, and Go Fast Bits diverter valve, it flat out rips. I have another house down in NC, which is 2.5 hours away, and this car makes the trip a breeze. Adjust the power lumbar, set the cruise control, put it on Sirius channel 33, and I'm gone. Still highly recommend this car against the likes of Accord, Camry, Malibu, Altima, etc. Although folks now say the Kia Stinger GT is its competition, it's not really, mainly because the Kia costs a LOT more than the Fusion Sport. With current discounts and incentives, you get a lot of car for the money with a Fusion Sport.
What a useless car
I could not wait to buy the new twin turbo Fusion Sport. I even had the dealer get the one I wanted from across the state instead of taking what was available locally. Now, 8 months later, it has been in the shop 3 times for windows not staying up and going into the bounce mode. Kind of an issue if it is raining. It took two transports on a flatbed truck to take it to the dealer with a dead battery. The first diagnosis was I left the headlights on. I even told them it was the audio control module. They replaced it the second time the battery went dead. It took 2 more trips to fix coolant leaks. The second time they determined it was a head gasket and pulled the engine to repair. Two more trips to fix oil leaks. Then the final straw. Engine shredded itself internally. Several rockers were broken in half and the timing gears were missing teeth. All these bits distributed themselves through out the motor and destroyed it. It now sits at the dealership with the engine torn down on the floor and with 4,100 miles on the clock! Update: Ford has now purchased the car back from me and I have purchased a new car that does not say Ford on it.

The Definitive Version of the Ford Fusion!
This is the third Ford Fusion that I've owned, out of trade-ins and ups. I wouldn't have purchased another if it weren't for the Sport. I loved my 15 Titanium, best car I ever drove, but this car knocked my socks off when I test-drove it. It is everything I love about the Titanium with the horse power of a Mustang. We'll hit the good stuff first. The car looks incredible, people always ask, "Is that a Fusion?" The mesh grille, LED lights, quad tip exhaust, and rims set this car apart from the other trim models. Really, this is a different car entirely from the other trims. The power is amazing, hitting the pedal results in some serious fun for a 4 door sedan. In car entertainment and technology is very streamlined, with the exception of the ever-behind-the-times navigation system. I use Apple CarPlay and let my phone do the navigating when necessary. I also find the bluetooth pairing to be cumbersome and sometimes unreliable, so I just don't use it. The seats are comfortable enough for a 4+ hour drive. Now the not-so-good stuff, I don't say bad because I haven't found anything bad about this car yet. The transmission is weird in its shift points, mainly between 2nd and 3rd. The steering doesn't inspire, but it gets the job done. Brakes could use a minor upgrade due to the weight of the car, especially the rears. Overall, this is the best car I've ever owned, so much so that I have put a good deal of money on mods improving the look and performance of it even more. I don't normally "invest" in a car, but I love this little monster!

Why did I buy this car?
Bought this car new from Ken Wilson Ford in Canton, NC just outside Asheville. Have had it back 3 times for the window not rolling up. Now there is a vibration, and a tire sensor is not working. Took it to the dealership and it has a wheel bearing out, a tire pressure sensor is out and... are you ready? 4 WARPED WHEELS, 4 WARPED WHEELS. They called and asked if I had hit something. When I said no, they said they didn't think i had because they went over the body to look for damage. Now they say my wheel and tire coverage won't cover it. Said its cosmetic because the wheels will hold air. Ford sold me a defective vehicle. THEY should fix it, not my wheel and tire protection. Was told it had features it didn't. Was not given paperwork from the sale because they needed title for my trade in. But they say they gave it to me. They put me through hell trying to collect documentation for rebates. Rold me to go to the courthouse in search of a document that doesn't exists. I don't know what is worse, the car or the dealership.

Ford Fusion Sport
This car is awesome has plenty of power and torque and the ride is pretty good for having a stiffer suspension and car handles very well, but the fuel economy is not so great.
