Used 2005 Ford Freestyle Consumer Reviews
Our Freestyle
Very comfortable to ride and drive. Rides like a car not a SUV. Very good gas mileage for its size. The only vehicle that we have purchased that actually got the advertised gas mileage.
Ford Freestyle
This is an excellent car, SUV, or a crossover as they say. Lots of power due to the CVT transmission, ALWAYS tons of power when you need it. Tires are awful. It needs better traction in snow ( took it to Vermont ), but the traction control works like a dream! It is so smooth and quiet on the highway though.

Freestyle and Liking it.
This is a very comfortable and versatile vehicle. Most pundits don't seem to grasp that a 5:17 final drive ratio can get you up and going quite briskly and the handling is terrific. Great vehicle for traveling with kids - more cargo room behind the third seat than the Expedition
Wagon With An Attitude
I like the easy entrance and exit. The ride is car like. I like the bucket seats in the second row. With two grandkids it is easy to see them with the theater seating.
Swiss Army of Cars
After owning this car for a little over 2 weeks, I haven't been this impressed with the versatility of any car before. You get good looks, great use of space, good gas mileage, great safety features and above all a pleasure to drive. If you have a family with kids, this is the family car you should look at seriously. The only thing it can't do is haul things like a pickup could, but really, how often do you do that in a family vehicle. Only negative so far is a loose DVD player that rattles but will be corrected by the dealer. I really enjoy this car.
