great ride
I have only had this car for two months, and compared to the 2001 Toyota Sienna that I traded in, it is so much more fun to drive and is much quieter and smoother riding than the Sienna. The gas mileage so far is around 21 city driving and 27 highway. The driver power seat adjusts many ways to give you very good visibility. The theater style seating allows the rear passengers a much clearer view, instead of looking at the back of someone's head. The CVT transmission works great. It is very efficient. I got used to it right away. You don't feel the gears changing at all, it is just super smooth. The rear seats flip and fold to create a very large flat cargo space in just a few seconds.
I love it!
I love my new Freestyle. I was driving an Explorer but wasn't very happy ... until I drove the Freestyle! It's a dream to drive and it's beautiful to look at. For once I'm excited to own a new car!
The best Ford
The Freestyle is fun to drive for both long and short trips gets; great gas millage and is very comfortable.
Nicest car I ever owned!
Love it! Getting lots of looks and questions from people in parking lots, etc. Solid feel, lots of power, great comfort with all the nice "bells and whistles".
Ford steps up to the plate
For years, all I've ever heard is don't buy a Ford unless you're buying an F-series truck. With all the improvements Ford has made in the reliability of their vehicles, I think they have outdone themselves with the Freestyle. It was 'iffy' at first when trying to convince my wife out of a Toyota and into a Ford, but when she saw and drove it, she was hooked. The ride is both a lot quieter and smoother than her '03 Toyota Matrix ever was. In addition, all 4 tires on the Toyota had to be replaced at 31K miles and a harmonic balancer on the alternator had to be replaced at 33K. Almost 7K miles on the Freestyle and problem free so far. Two big thumbs up for Ford!
