Ford is CRAZY

So I had my car for almost 3 years brought it new, kept up with the maintenance and now my transmission is shot to hell🤦🏾‍♀️. I have called ford to get some answers but they were no help. It’s recalls on the transmission but only with vehicles with engine size 1.0, I’m over it. My car is not worth what I still owe on it. To top it off I have to pay 5500 for a new transmission. Ford done lost there mind, I’ll be talking with a lawyer in the morning. So let me know if y’all have the same problem or something close. Cause I’m not having it today.

I bought a 2016 ford focus brand new and like everyone else I had shifting problems. Got it fixed and runs great now. Around 60,000 miles my radio speakers started crackling, not all the time but a month later the radio quit working and won't even light up now. The thing is that I don't even listen to the radio that much ever and I never even used the CD player yet.

Buy a Mazda 3 instead

Transmission is awful. Grinding and shaking is called 'normal' by Ford service. Noisy pumps are also considered 'normal'. I tried to save a few bucks and buy American but this will keep me from ever buying a Ford again. Comfort on long trips is lacking as well. Parking brake is positioned just in the wrong place and digs into right leg.

The perfect car

Go to a place where the sales people know their product and are willing to take the time to explain the vehicle to you. This is the first time I purchased a Ford product and I had a good sales person who took the time to discuss the vehicle and show many of the things that make it a great vehicle. I find the rear view camera to be a great asset and the car is comfortable to ride in, but a little difficult to get into, but in time I am sure that I will adjust to it.

After getting it fixed 3 different times and its still not working correctly. Please be aware dont buy this car. Dont let your family members buy it and dont let your friends buy it. Its not worth the headache. It shift horrible it sounds bad the clutch weren’t designed well at all. needless to say it’s dangerous to drive. Please dont be like me and just avoid this car all together.
