Used 2019 Ford Escape Consumer Reviews
Beware!
I purchased a used 2019 Ford Escape Titanium with 37k on it and at 100k I felt a funny vibration when i would accelerate. i was about to take it to get it looked at and it started idling rough as if it was going to stall. Then the check engine light went on. I took it to the local dealer and they said i had coolant leaking into the 2nd Cylinder and the transmission torque converter was slipping badly. $10,000 bill. I called Ford and they told me to basically go F myself. Apparently it is a known issue and there is a class action lawsuit. I should have paid the money for a new Honda instead of taking a chance on this piece of crap. Lesson learned.

Great car for first time buyers
This car grabbed our eye immediately. We love the size of it for a couple just starting out. Technology in the car is fascinating alongside the Ford Sync 3 App

Worst Ford ever
This has been my worst Ford ever in 20 years (Ford Explorers, Escapes and Focus). Also worst service record ever (recall plus high maintenance costs even under warranty). Not going back to Ford Canada. They don't even provide a loaner for recall despite the fact the defect is dangerous. The gas consumption is terrible as is the transmission. The FWD produces poor traction and manoeuvrability. I can't get this car out of my driveway in snow without chains. Heating takes about 20 minutes to kick in, and the dashboard signage disintegrated within 2 years. The earlier Escape Hybrid AWD was a far better car.

2019 ford escape 1.5 ltr. 4wd
this vehicle is the most capable for climbing and agile on the beach. can cross streams with the average truck. 0-60 is great. cargo room and towing capacity is cheap, but this saves for off road trips. the vehicle's light weight is favorable on ice and snow, sand, rocks, and GAS. i dont see myself trading this vehicle in for a honda - strong build is too satisfying.

WORSE CAR EVER
Bought it in June...........was in shop for over 2 month putting in new engine. Everything on this car has been replaced. Has been in the shop 3 times since. Worse gas mileage ever. Wish Henry Ford could drive this pos for a week at these gas prices and car always in shop.
