Gas mileage sucks
Leased one month ago. Now have 1558 mi and I am at gas station 2-3 times week. Spoke to Service tech was told breaking in period. I’m getting 10 -13.9 mi according to info on Car console. I was under impression 20 mi at least. For today’s cars better efficiency is a must. Not being told that’s the way it is. After insisting this sucks and not acceptable I was told bring it in and will put on machine. Wow I hope there is a problem or this will be a long 3 year lease

Fun and sporty car!
I looked at this car because of my lifestyle. Being an triathlete, I am always hauling my bike and lots of gear bags to different locations. This car is perfect! Lots of room in the back where I could put my car inside with the seats folded down or my gear bags with my bike on the bike rack. The power is great up the CO mountains and the ride is very smooth. I love the technology inside the car - overall its a lot of fun to drive! The dealership (Phil Long Ford in Denver) and the salesperson (Juan Montoya) make the car even better with the buying experience.

SEL AWD 2.0
Have 2000 miles on the Edge. We went with the base SEL with AWD. Got a good deal with the rebates. The car has exceeded expectations. Only things that Ford should have done is have the optional safety features standard, not just having a black interior and fix the outside temperature to show live all the time. We added husky liners and put in a headrest entertainment system for the kids. The car will make the MPG figures if you do not exceed the speed limit and are not pushing against the wind. We do not have the engine off feature at stops not offered on this car. Our last car was a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid. Ford does not offer the Hybrid and the new Escape cabin is to tight. So if I could do anything different for the same price I would have liked tan interior.

Pretty fun to drive for an SUV.
I purchased this in December of 2018 because with the updated ST model coming to dealers they needed to unload a few Sports they had on the lot. I usually buy used off lease but was able to get about 12K off retail price which made a new Sport almost as affordable as a slightly used one. I like the way the car drives and handles with the turbo 6 and it is quiet and comfortable on the highway. It has plenty of storage space for my needs and most of the electronics are pretty straightforward and easy to use. I love still having a CD player for long trips and the Sony stereo is adequate at low volume and gets much better with higher volume. I like the panoramic sunroof and the HVAC is excellent. No real complaints over the first 5K miles and surprisingly noting to fix at first service other than oil change and tire check. Update: after almost 2 years and 15k the car has been bulletproof. No repairs required and runs great. This will be a long term vehicle!

Would rather buy Fred flintstones car.
Flywheel broke once. At 48000 miles. Broke a second time. A SECOND TIME! at 68000 miles. Auto nation chalks it up to bad luck.
Not recommended - Engine failed at 70K miles
I was the only owner of a Forde Edge 2018. I've done all services on time in the same dealership. With 70K miles the Engine had a failure with no possible repair but to replaced it. Warranty spired at 60K. FORD didn't offer any help or solution for this. I don't recommend this vehicle or the Service FORD gives.

Comfy till you Drive it
I have been leasing the Ford Edge Titanium AWD v6 now for four months. Love how comfortable it is, the fit and finish are fabulous. After a few week the car developed a vibration in the gas pedal when accelerating that has steadily gotten worse. On log trips it is so annoying I don’t want to drive it. Of course the dealership says they can’t feel it. WHAT? Anyway, it’s going down the road as soon as I can get rid of it before it shakes itself apart.

Thash after 60,000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was the only owner of a Forde Edge 2018. I've done all services on time in the same dealership. With 64K miles the Engine had a failure with no possible repair but to replaced it. Warranty spired at 60K. FORD didn't offer any help or solution for this. When I start looking for similar cases I found many as my where there are defective parts in the engine and it was never recalled by FORD. What FORD think after that I will never by FORD again and sure either the next generation on my family. The boys got really upset and saw his mother crying on got the news from the dealership. I don't recommend this vehicle or any other FORD vehicle.
ENGINE IS WORTHLESS
Bought my 2018 edge used in 2021 with only 20,000 miles on it. At 32,000 miles on it my check engine light came on. Ford dealership where i had all service done sense purchased informed me cylinder 1&3 where leaking gas and anti freeze into the engine. Warranty expired 5 months ago. Was told had to replace the engine, which when reading many reviews , seems to be a VERY COMMON issue with this vehicle. Have been a faithful ford owner for 30 years. This vehicle has made me want to dump it as soon as possible and leave the ford brand
Low beam headlights are very dim.
The headlights are ok on high beam, but low beam is really bad.
