Used 2018 Ford Edge Consumer Reviews
Coolest crossover on the road
The back window does not roll down and the rear windows only 3/4 of the way down.

No Active Collision Avoidance
I was not aware that the pre-collision warning did not include automatic braking. I would not have purchased this car if I had know.

2018 Ford Edge Sport is Fast and Unrefined
I've owned a 2018 Edge Sport for approximately one year. The positive is that 2.7 litre, V6 is fast. The negatives are the interior is cheap, the front driver/passenger seats are uncomfortable, and the fake engine noises in the cabin are just horrible. For the cost, many competitors that offer far superior interiors. Instead of Ford installing a great sounding exhaust system on the car, they build in some cheap [non-permissible content removed] and pump fake engine noises through the cabin speakers! Total Ford crap!

Hollywood Harrington
Decided to size up from my 2013 Ford Escape which is a car I loved but due to advanced mileage we purchased a 2018 Edge. Love the increased size and bulkier feel from the escape. Smooth, quiet drive. Especially enjoyed our interaction with our salesperson Eric Harrington. Made a dreary situation...buying a car....actually relaxed and fun.
Replaced my Motor at 61K
Had to replace my motor at 61K (1K over warranty). FMC would not replace it free of charge and I had to pay for half of the cost. Other than that, it is a great riding car and nice features inside and out.
New to me
Had more interior space than I anticipated. Like the 6 cyl engine. Line the lines of the car, easier to see surroundings than some other vehicles. Have enjoyed to this point.

Found The Right Car and Dealer
This is hands down the best vehicle we have owned. It is so comfortable and the cabin is made for driving. Everything is at your fingertips. The rear hatch area blew me away the first time I saw it. Our dealership, Moyer Ford in Foley, Alabama, made the whole experience so relaxing with no stress.

ZIPPY 2018 Ford Edge Sport 2.7L
I purchased this vehicle in 2019 as it sat on the lot for almost a full year, brand new. Electric Blue, sport, 20 wheels, all the fixings, tinted windows, moon roof, AWD ect. It flies, acceleration is awesome, and sport mode steering really gets the vehicle going exactly where you want it too. Seat settings for different drivers, mood lighting you can alter colors, FORD Sync with Android is fantastic. Quiet ride with a fine leather interior. I love the visibility from the driver's seat as well as the looks of the vehicle from the outside. Things I did not like: The headlights are very weak I had to upgrade them with LEd and get the connectors with additional fans due to how hot they get. The turn signal is very quiet, it will stay on longer than necessary, and is hard to hear the click click. The gas is on the left, unlike my Ford at work where it is on the rightside.

a great used Edge Sport
Great performance - feels like a quality car. Wish that outside mirrors power folded when ignition is OFF - wish that brake wear percentage was provided (like oil or tire pressure) - wish that transmission did not clunk at low speeds when changing gear - wish that memorized settings included rear view mirror - wish that Blind Spot Detection had LARGER illumination in RED on side mirrors
Great size, easy to drive, love it.
I have a full loaded SEL,.love the panoramic sunroof, the handling, turning radius, and leather interior. I purposefully bought one used with the v6 which is a great engine. Wish this came with air conditioned seats, but that's the only con I have. Replaced wrecked Lincolm MKZ sedan which was similarly loaded (but was a hybrid w/AC seats), and aside from the gas mileage I like the taller vehicle with the hatchback better! With all the extras this is basically a Titanium. Had to pick wrong vehicle type below bc it didn't have my engine.

Twin turbo
We like this vehicle with it's great styling and terrific acceleration. With the 401a package it is as good or better than newer competitors.
Edge
Quiet, smooth ride. 50,000 miles put on it since we bought it with no problems.

defective reflective lens on tail gate
get an warranty on reflective bar. Gets condensation and water in it. The rear reflective still has water and condensation inside reflective. It has to replaced about a dozen times and it still has water inside and condensation inside. They never fixed the condensation and water inside reflective. Now it's out of warranty. Costs about $1000.00 Ford has never fixed the problem. The 2018 Edge is a great car. Only problem is the reflective on the rear of the car, between the rear brake lens.
