This is a neat little wagon but it's made in India
I am hoping Ford will see the error in their ways and start making this model in the US. With my experience in Indian Products they are shiny but weak and wear out very fast.

WARNING!!!! NO SPARE TIRE!!!!
1. You get a tube of tire sealant but NO SPARE TIRE IF YOUR PROBLEM IS BIGGER THAN AN ORDINARY FLAT. 2. Per item #5, page 5 in the Tire Warrany Guide provided by Ford for the Bridgestone/Firestone Limited Warranty "...does not cover...tires with sealant, balance, or other filler material that was not originally applied or inserted by the tire manufacturer. In other words if I have a flat and use the sealant to make it to a Bridgestone/Firestone dealer, then by using what Ford provided, the tire warranty is void. And if you incur a more serious problem than the sealant can repair you're stranded out on the road for any number of bad things to happen.

So far so good
I have had my Ecosport for a little over a month and I love it. With the rear seat folded and the floor level there is plenty of room for flea market finds. It you like to burn rubber from every light this is not the car for you but it is no turtle to drive either. Averaging about 23 miles per gallon in city driving with 2.0 AWD. It rides fairly nice for a short wheelbase vehicle and interior is functional and the features easy to navigate. The biggest con so far is front visibility. It is difficult to see the front corner when parking in the garage. I wish the gas tank was a little larger than 13.7 gallons. Nothing but compliments from friends and co workers. Definitely a keeper! Update... a year into ownership and the Ecosport is still rock solid. Plenty of space for flea market finds. Went through the snow with no issues. Even after taking a mileage hit in the winter still averaging 23 mpg Update II. Two and a half years of ownership the dealer made us an offer we couldn’t refuse. In today’s market trade in value is sky high. Replacement is a 2022 Kia Sportage The Ecosport had many nice convenience features that the Kia doesn’t however that is cancelled by the tons of extra room in the Sportage. The Ecosport is a great urban SUV, perfect for around town errands. Anything more than that it’s deficiency’s start to show. Ford make a big mistake in their lack of marketing and sadly after 2022 the Ecosport will disappear. If you have a change to buy one it is a good deal

Worst Car
Worst car ever! First time ever bought a Ford would never buy again!! Had the car for 3 months and out of the 3 months I had my car maybe a total of 3 weeks! Spent more time in the service dept than with me! It has a total of 5 hood switches and the alarm still goes off and instead of fixing the problem all I was told was don't set your alarm! Seriously!! Next problems with air conditioner call to tell them about it (mind you at time trying to get extended warranty and no return calls to get it) told them AC should not go out after 3 yrs since it was hardly used and their response was "It could go out 1 week to 6 months after you buy the car no guarantee!" Are you kidding me! Like I said I know from 1st hand it is the worst car ever and it is on the top 10 list of worst cars of 2022!
Top tier features, maneuverable, slow ride
UPDATE: I’ve had my car for half a year now. I still love everything about it. Gas is cheap, fits comfortably in tight spaces, and I still think the ET screen is better/bigger than most new SUVs. Still a slow ride, extremely noticeable with the AC on as every car. Sad they’re discontinuing but happy to say I owned one!! Pros: This vehicle has almost every interior feature you need: heated seats, backup camera, big entertainment system, etc. I found the size to be very convenient when passing by semis as I know i have more wiggle room to move to the side or squeeze into tight places. The hatch opening sideways is also convenient as I don't have to reach up and pull a heavy hatch down! It also is an eye catcher and people comment on it all the time. The ride is smooth over bumps and even smoother in sports mode. Surprisingly enough, my dad who is a large person said he fit comfortably in the passenger and rear seats. Cons: One thing I really wanted was remote start and this doesn't have it. However, I did get it installed for a few hundred bucks. The pillars surrounding the windshield are very thick, this creates a big blindspot when going around/entering roundabouts. The acceleration is worse than my 2009 Ford fusion - very “jumpy” when trying to accelerate quickly. And sports mode doesn't help the acceleration as much as the ride. Overall: None of the cons are deal breakers, I can live with most of them. You can't get the same for the price, nothing else compared to this when looking in the mid 10s price range! I'm going to be keeping this for a while.
