Ordered mine on 11/19/12. Got it delivered on 2/13/13. LooOoong wait. So, how's the gas mileage you ask? Fine. After 2 weeks of driving, the EV+ feature is recognizing my work, parents, and home locations. That means it goes full electric within 1/2 mile of location. Very nice. On some trips, I'm measuring 48mpg, and it is COLD and SNOWY/SLURPEE muck here. Overall, I see 31.5mpg in 2 weeks of driving... The interior is quite nice. Sync works very well, and simple to me. I recognize it would be intimidating to some. The ride quality is smooth. The acceleration can be surprising! This car rocks. Low-ish reliability because I already have had a "flat" battery...

Ford Lied

We purchased a C-MAX after be mesmerized by the idea of 47mpg. Sure we were giving up some room but the trade off was to much to overlook. After owning the C-Max we averaged 37 mpg with 14k miles of constant monitoring of driving habits and fuel use. Ford has stretched the truth and lied to those that purchased this vehicle. For this they should be punished. Sold the C-max and bought a Dodge. I shall never buy another Ford because they can not be trusted. Sure I know all of the disclaimers but 47 city and 47 highway means you should be fairly close to 47 if you keep your foot out of it. YOU WILL ONLY ACHIEVE 47 MPG IF YOU DRIVE MOSTLY CITY DRIVING. THE HIGHWAY WILL KILL YOUR MPG.

C-Max @ 3-YR

Very comfortable car - seems much larger inside due to windows. Comfortable seats! Hatch has a toe-starter, which comes in handy when your hands are full of groceries or heavy items. Unless you know how to drive a hybrid correctly, you probably won't get more than 40 mpg.

Purchased our CMax yesterday. Average MPG now 42.7 with less than 200 miles on it. Very happy. Ride, fit, finish, technology, fantastic. What a marvel of technology.

OK folks. Most cars do not get the EPA estimated mileage. That said, you'll love this car. It's much more comfortable and stylish than a Prius. I've only had mine a few days and I'm loving it. Rides great, is quiet and fun to drive. The SYNC is a bit fussy, but fun to play with. I'm getting about 33 now but it will go up as the weather warms and engine gets broken in. I am very happy with my choice.
