2024 Ford Bronco Consumer Reviews

Poor quality
This has one of the loudest cab rides out of any vehicle I have ever been in. It’s like riding with all the windows down and AC on full blast. I took my friends bronco on a 6 hour road trip and my ears felt like they were bleeding after. Not to mention how JERKY this wheel is. The weight of the vehicle is so off balance at higher speeds. I was getting sick and I was the one driving. Extremely poor experience and would not recommend this vehicle to anyone.

4 cyl FAIL
I ordered this Bronco new with the 4 cyl engine. At 8k miles my problems started. Misfire on multiple cylinders. It's been in the shop 3 times total now. This newest time has been 11 weeks. I was notified that my engine will be replaced. Ford has really not done much for me during this time at all. I was denied a buyback from Ford because they've provided me a loaner vehicle. I would not buy one again.

The Bronco that all others wish they were.
Good power. Decent comfort. Handling that is shockingly good for something riding on 37" tires. Just wish they cold do something about the gas mileage.

Excellent ride!
This was a surprise for my husband and he was very impressed with this Bronco! The only downside was the placement of the handle to get in but he found a solution and it has worked very well! It is a surprisingly smooth and great ride.

Absolutely in love
I will start off with the negative… Trying to obtain one. And the positive there is so much to list. My prior vehicle there are zero aftermarket modifications available. I have always wanted a vehicle that is versatile and the bronco is it. It’s a convertible and an all utility vehicle in one. The bronco allows you to personalize your vehicle with accessories with modifications yet it goes everywhere. Both engines offer enough horsepower to get you into trouble. My son has a two-door 2.3 and I have a four-door 2.7. Both vehicles get decent gas mileage. Keep in mind that these are not aerodynamic vehicles but moving bricks. Even so, the fun factor is off the charts. I smile when I drive it. I find reasons to drive it and love to wash it. I do wish that Ford would offer ventilation seats. But I found these seats available as aftermarket! You can not go wrong with buying one of these. Which is why I bought two. 😎 Update: make it 3. There should be a warning on these vehicles. So much fun! I had no idea how much fun we could have. Hubby surprised me with a Ford Bronco Raptor aka Braptor. It’s everything I wanted and more. Plus it’s stock…for now. I never knew it was impossible to drive and NOT smile while driving these. My kids inherited/ earned the other 2. So I have all 3 engines at the moment. My husband and my kids LOVE working on these together. We love the unlimited amount of accessories and customization that is available. Oh my goodness….even the off roadeo that is offered to the owners. We went Mother’s Day weekend and holy smokes! I want to have more passes for the other locations. No one had a miserable time. I thought our smiles would disappear but they didn’t. These Broncos stock truly demonstrated what GOAT is. And now I have. Braptor too…oh I can’t wait. My kids want to attend but there’s a limit on the guests to that event….so date night (day) it is….

Happy Buyer!
I really like the new Bronco. My husband purchased the original full-size Bronco in the 90's - he LOVED it. One of his favorite cars. While the new Bronco isn't as monstrous as the original and wouldn't be a great fit for him (he's 6'-6" tall), it fits me perfectly. I'm a 65-year old woman who has owned a BUNCH of cars (most of them Ford). I loved the look of the new Bronco when it first came out, but it seemed so expensive to me, having never spent more than $30K on a car. Well, times have changed. You can't take it with you, so I decided to splurge one last time before I retire (still 5 or more years down the road) and spend the money. It was discounted at the "end-of-year need to move it off the lot" price. Still more than I wanted to spend, but I LOVE it. I had no interest in a soft top and was having difficulty finding a hard top. I found one in black that I was going to move on, but then I extended my search parameters and found IT. A hot pepper red, hard top Outer Banks with a mid package and 4-cylinder engine. It's a head turner! I purchased it without driving it first, having briefly driven my friend's 6-cylinder Bronco. No regrets. The 4-cylinder engine has more than enough pep. It handles great and has a really nice turning radius. It does really well in the curves of the North Georgia mountains. The interior is just the way I like it - simple. Easy to manage knobs and a big, clear screen in the middle. (I briefly sat in a new Jeep Mohave recently and the number of knobs and controls looked like a plane cockpit to me, and my first impression of the seats wasn't good). The seats are comfortable (although no seats have been more comfortable than the 2020 Ford Edge I drove). I love the two-tone leather seats. Storage is sufficient. I am VERY happy with my purchase. Gas mileage is as expected - highway driving to work it's averaging about 21.8 mpg. I've gotten it as high as 23 mpg. I only have about 2,200 miles on it, but so far so good.

Things I like and things I definitely don't like
2024 Ford Bronco 2-door Black Diamond Cactus gray in color. 1100 miles Styling is great inside and out. Off-road capabilities (which we use) are great. Vehicle is peppy when accelerating. CONS: rough ride, wind noise at highway speeds is terrible. Door and front windows are full of rattles, as is the rear tailgate area. Gas mileage is terrible. 13 in the city and 20-22 on the highway. Vehicle is extremely loud when accelerating hard. I'm guessing they designed the exhaust this way to make it sound "tough" or "cool" (pick your adjective), but in my opinion it is annoyingly loud. I know this is an off-road vehicle, but I expect a little better, especially with the rattles.

Cool exterior but that’s where it stops
We have had it since April and it’s hasn’t worked right since new. The sync is horrible always disconnects and connects constantly. The roof has always made noise. And on top of it it vibrates over 60 mph and the rear end makes noise! Ford won’t work with you to get it in to fix it and they told us we would have to rent a vehicle that is practically brand new and won’t guarantee that they will reimburse the rental. The quality is not job one for Ford it’s how fast we can make them and worry about the rest later.
