(BTW, this is a review of the Citadel V8 model, not available to choose from the list) I origiannaly had a 2011 Traverse and it was a nice vehicle with some great room and features. I was however, unhappy with the looks of it as well as the cheap "feel" of the interior. (I owned the LTZ model) I was always looking for a nice suv that had a more manly style and still had the luxury inside without paying for an escalade. Enter the 2012 Durango Citadel! OMG, this vehicle has it all. All of the cool tech features you could ever want, super luxurious interior, and a badass look on the outside! If there is one caveat I have, it is the plastic rim covers. An amazing vehicle overall!

Traded my Acura for this and LOVE it!

I traded my 2004 Acura MDX for this Dodge Durango Citadel and have no regrets whatsoever. This is my first-ever American made car and I am thoroughly impressed. First, it looks so fantastic that I'm thrilled to walk up to and get into it every time. Once inside, I'm greeted with comfortable seats and every amenity I've ever imagined. It feels truly luxurious and I feel pampered. Third row is spacious enough, second row is great, cargo capacity is wonderful. The ride is smooth and quiet on the 20" tires. One small complaint: steering wheel makes a slight rattling sound at low speeds. It's somewhat annoying so I will have that checked next time I visit the dealer. I have put 3,000 miles on it.

My Old Sequoia Had to Go

Sadly, our family traded in the old Sequoia, shedding crodile tears--the new Sequoias looked like they had a front end from a dump truck. Our 2012 AWD 5.7L Citadel is wicked cool! Fit and finsh is great, there are so many whistles and bells, I'm still finding cool things. The 5.7L Hemi is everything everyone said it is--including thirsty. I was initially a little leery about buying a Dodge, but nothing else that I looked at compared to the capacity, looks, performance and value. I used the employee discount program through my work, so there was no hassle on the purchase price. Can't wait to see how this thing drives in the snow this winter.

Late Term Lemon Dodge Durango Citadel

I bought my 2012 Dodge Durango Citadel in 2014 from the owner of mercedes-benz dealer. It had about 45,000 miles on it. I keep my dodge in a garage I keep all of my services up to date including 65,000 miles currently I have 79,500 miles on my vehicle. I have been actively trying to get a recall scheduled for about 2 years now. The recall is V62 furl relay and I found out that the manufacturer is only releasing 1, that's right 1 a week to each dealership across the country. The dealer in Orlando to me they would have to set an appointment in order to order the part. I agreed to the appointment time and the order was placed 1 month ago. One month later I received an email informing that my part had arrive and I needed to affirm my appointment. As a result of me moving to another city I call the dealer to see if that would send the part to a closer dealer. when the closer dealer contact the dealer that ordered the part they were told my part have not arrived. And then I was told it will be about 4 to 5 months before I can expect the part to arrive. Meanwhile the front FCW Cam keeps going off and the sensor that detect something stopping in front of you cause my car to take nose dives while driving on the high way as well as in city traffic. I have taken it ti 2 dealerships and both state they cannot reproduce the problem and so I have to pay for diagnoses can rental and my car is still broke. On average I only have to 1 or 2 miles to see the dash board light up with total cruise control shut down. This is my 3rd dodge Dodge Durango, 1999, 2001 and now a 2012, rest assured this is my last dodge anything. The Dodge brand use to be SECOND TO NONE.! and now their brand is first runner up to NONE.I am a 100% disable veteran and the closest VA facility is close to 100 miles one way in Orlando FL. I live alone and it is 100% my responsibility to get to my doctors appointment and my 2012 Dodge Durango is my only means of transportation. I bought the Citadel for two reasons, one, as I stated above Dodge previous reputation as a quality product with excellent customer service and two, because of the term citadel implies. I figured with Dodge previous reputation added to a fortress what could go wrong? Buyer beware, it appears that both the dealer and the manufacture alike only care about the sale. Have any of you wondered how much more gas you are having to pay for as a result of this faulty recall V62 ( relay Switch)? Oh yeah I have the Mopar lifetime extended warranty, its not helping where this matter is concern. I just wanted America to know if you are having these kinds of problems with Dodge you are not alone.

I have purhcased a 2012 Dodge Durango. The car I purchased made it about 9 miles before it was broken. It has taken the dealership nearly two weeks to repair. After 2 weeks of arguing with various people to get the issue resolved and being promised a replacement car they managed to fix mine. When I left the dealership the odometer had 56 miles on it (this is not a typo), by the time I got it back it had 75 miles on it.
