Used 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe Consumer Reviews
Great truck???
Have owned my 2001 Tahoe for 1 1/2 years. Have had more problems with this vehicle than any other I've ever owned. Problems have ranged from warped trim to major power-train issues. This truck has been in the shop more times than I care to think about. When it is functioning well I must say that it can haul, tow, comfortably seat and ride well the best in this class. I'm concerned that it will continue to cause problems after the warranty expires and therefore am planning to get rid of it.
Improvement & Luxury
It's a good Suv for a big family. HTey should try to lower the gas milege.

Woodside
We enjoy our Tahoe very much, just wish we could afford a new one. We travel with friends and they too like this vehicle because of the comfort and the ability to see better from it.
Powerhouse with style
Some say the interior looks dated, I say it looks fine. Now that it is about 5+ years old, no one can believe it has 60,000 miles, it looks new. I am a very maintenance concious though. I wax every 3 months, and wash every week. I definitely do routine oil change.
2001 LT Tahoe
Overall I am very happy with my Tahoe. I have a some engine noise and rattle in th front suspension which the dealer takes care of when I go in for service but they seem to come back within a few weeks. The worst part of the vehicle is the automated climate control system (CCS). It seems to do things that are contrary to rational thought. For instance, it could be 30 below and the auto CCS wants to turn on the AC! I've given up on it and run the system mannually.
