Used 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Consumer Reviews
My Monte Carlo
It pops and creeks in the front end, the interior between seats is impossible to get between to clean and I don't like that. Other wise I truly enjoy it.
My Baby!
Bought the car in 06 with 82000 miles. Still own it to this day 13 years later with a cool 168000 on the dash. The only maintenance I have done was a minor tube up at 150000. New spark plugs and leads, coil packs, flushed all the fluids, 2 sets of tires over the years, and new pads and rotors. Even got a recall notice in the mail for a gasket replacement and the car is damn near 20 yes old! I've never owned another vehicle as long. Love this thing. Only wish was that it was rear wheel drive!

Perfect practical American car
This is a great car for those interested in something practical, economical, and safe. I've had one small problem--the center console lid's hinge snapped--in the nearly four years I've owned it (knock on wood!). Sure, it's not the most stylish car on the road, but there's something attractive about how everything is rounded; it's not boxy like a lot of other similar cars. It's sturdy, comfortable, and ergonomic.
Love It
Great car with no problems
A pretty good car
I bought the car used from Hertz car sales(it was a rental car)with 28,000 miles on it. Now the car has 65,000 miles on it. Last week the check engine light came on and I took it in to be looked at. They had to replace the intake manifold gasket, the #1 fuel injector and the #1 spark plug. All of this cost me over $700. The only other problem I have had with the car is warped front break rotors. I am not sure if I will buy another GM car. The quality has improved in the last 10 years. I do not expect a car with 65,000 on it to need the extensive work that mine just had.
