Mom loved her 2014 Equinox but needed a new car. I am a Toyota or Honda buyer, Ford for domestic trucks. She considered other makes & models but kept coming back to the Equinox. I relented, worked got her the car. It is fabulous so far.

They did a good job on this car actually better than a Cadillac ST 4 2024 new. Rides real good, very smooth and comfortable. Plenty of room. The style is very good. not much to criticize here just a few. Steering wheel is kind of thick, the front hood sides actual go up blocking view they need to scale down. The car glides very good and mileage if on good roads not hilly or pot holes gets about 33. The engine is not powerful but is ok.They need to have a light color interior option like beige/tan especially on headliner. The black headliner keeps the interior dark thats not good. Noise from front tires is a downer need better insulation to quiet ride. Has plenty of tech stuff, or to much.Rear seats have plenty of room for occupants. Could use more options for outside colors.I have had new Honda CRV, Cadillac XT4 and Buick Envision all within the last 3 years. Chevy Equinox beats them all and at a lower price. No kidding.
