2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV Consumer Reviews

Flimsy body work
The auto body of the car is very flimsy and shoddily made. I simple bike rack that I have used on three different vehicles (Kia, Subaru, and Toyota), for 10 years, 1000s of miles without incident, damaged the Chevy because the sheet metal is so cheap and flimsy. The rack hooks onto the trunk car, and bent and damaged the hood. Chevy believes this is my fault, and by the letter of their warranty they are right, but my counter is the car should not be so flimsy that if folds up like cheap tent with minor pressure.
The Wow Factor!
My first EV and the Chevrolet Equinox EV RS does not disappoint. I have only had it for 9 days so far but it is impressive with the features and accessories it has. Well worth an investigation if you are looking for your next SUV and are interested in an EV. Yes I had to add quite a few added features but I think that is smart of Chevrolet to provide the bare necessities for those who want just that.

Loving My 2025 Equinox EV – A Game-Changer After O
After just one week of driving my new 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV, I can confidently say this is one of the best decisions I’ve made when it comes to cars. Chevy absolutely nailed it with this electric SUV. Performance & Driving Experience: The ride is incredibly smooth, quiet, and responsive. The instant torque you get from the electric motor makes acceleration feel effortless. Whether I’m merging onto the highway or just cruising around town, it feels powerful but totally controlled. Range & Charging: The range is more than enough for my daily driving and then some. I’ve barely had to think about charging, and when I do, it’s easy. Level 2 charging at home is fast and convenient, and I love that the car’s system helps me plan ahead if I need a public charger. Chevy’s integration with charging networks is smooth, and the in-car navigation even shows nearby stations. Tech & Features: Wireless Apple CarPlay, a huge responsive touchscreen, and a sleek digital dashboard make it feel super modern. I also really appreciate the driver assistance features — adaptive cruise, lane centering, and surround-view camera have already made a big difference in how relaxed I feel behind the wheel. Comfort & Interior: It’s roomy, well-designed, and surprisingly premium for its price. The seats are very comfortable, and the materials feel thoughtfully chosen. Tons of space in the back and the cargo area — perfect for road trips or grocery runs. Value: For the price point, I honestly think the Equinox EV is one of the best electric SUV options out there right now. You get cutting-edge EV tech, modern features, great range, and Chevy reliability all without breaking the bank.

It’s so much fun to drive and I’m impressed with the engineering and layout of the car.
