My 67 year dream come true!
When the first Corvette was introduced in 1953 I was 14. My friends and I found out that the first one in our town was across town so got on our bikes and rode to where is was. It was sitting in a very nice mans garage and he happened to be in the garage shinning it up. We ask him if we could look at it and being proud of ir he of course said sure. I fell for that white with red interior and black convertable top beauty right then. I am now 82 years old and wanted one all these 67 years. Could have bought one a couple times but was brought up very conservative so always talked myself out of it. Well this past June my special lady of 57 years made me a deal. She said if I was ever going to get one I should before I was to old to get in and out of one. She made me a deal, I had 6 months to find one that I would like or the deal was off the table, Needless to say It didn't take that long to find the one I wanted, only 6 weeks!. I always like a red sports car with a tan leather interior and top but when I found a white with red leather interior and a black top like the first one i saw that had to be the one! The 2000 C5 is perfect! it was a personal lease and very well taken care of. It is what the service manager at the dealership said was 100% on top and it only needed a couple thing under to make it 100% all over. I enjoy doing local cruise-ins. We take Sunday top down drives when the sun is out. As many others have said the C5 is the all around sports car and I will always be able to get in and out it even if I have to crawl!

Overall Beauty
Had this car for 4 years and I love looking at it still. It's gorgeous, though it has had a few problems. Gas gauge, steering column lock, noisy tires. But overall it's a pleasure, especially after upgrading the intake and exhaust.

Love my C5
Second C5 I have owned. Fifth Corvette I have owned. Best so far. Fast and smooth.
2000 Convertible O' Fun
I own the 2000 Millennium Yellow Six-Speed Vette. It is a great vehicle. Has a few problems that GM ignored at first but later fixed such as the locked steering wheel but, for the most part it is a great car.
2000 FRC Corbett
Problems with the a/c and very temperamental electronics.
