Avoid the 8-speed 8L45 transmission

By any Colorado that doesn't use this transmission. Do an Internet search on GM 8-speed transmission problems. And I guarantee you will look by a GM product. I regret buying my 2020 Colorado due to the transmission problems. I should have done my research before buying:(

A lot more insulation and and so much quieter than a Toyota. I have a 2019 CCSB 4x4. Size is great for me as I don't do a lot of towing/hauling. Power train has been flawless. love the blindspot mirror and lack of nanny technology. Update: now has 16k miles on it. No issues or problems. Still enjoying this truck and probably even more as it's pothole season.

Little Crush

We are used to having a full size truck but when we were in the market for a new vehicle I wanted to go to a mid sized SUV for the gas mileage. My wife did not want any part of that she wanted a truck end of story. We went to our local Chevy dealer and there she was a bright orange crew cab, Chevy's name for the color is Crush. But anyway we have had her for a bit over a year now and I can honestly say we are very pleased with the purchase. It has a beautiful ride like floating on air even on rough roads. The VVT V6 is very powerful, responsive and when I can keep the accelerator off the floor board it gets an impressive 26 to 27 MPG on the highway and around town its keeps between 18 and 20 MPG which is much better than the full size trucks we are used too. The interior is comfortable and the back seat has an impressive amount of leg room for a smaller truck. We did use it once to move my son to a new apartment and it did tow a fully loaded 6x12 enclosed trailer with it with no problem but the gas mileage goes to hell with a trailer on it. We were getting 11 MPG with the trailer so I would not want to use it to tow very much. Thankfully I have a Silverado 2500 which believe it or not it gets better gas mileage towing. All and all if your looking for a mid sized truck I like this one better than anything we looked at and we are very pleased with it. We put a hard folding bed cover on it so we have plenty of water tight trunk space probably more than most Mid sized SUV's.

Disappointed

2019 Chevrolet Colorado LT 4dr Crew Cab 4WD 5.1 ft. SB (3.6L 6cyl 8A)

Bought a 2019 LT 4X4 brand new. One year later and 3700 miles later, it has developed an electronic that neither my dealer or GM seems to be able to repair. At intermittent times, the doors unlock and lock again, and the transmission brings the truck almost to a crawl. The TCM has been replaced, but it still has its fits. Just beware if you are thinking about buying!

I have 6700 Km on the truck without any problems. Goes extremely well in the snow. Has descent l/km and is very enjoyable to drive. For some reason my model isn't listed
