Terrible Value

Very sharp design and the dash board display is excellent. Plenty of power with the 6.2 V8 and a comfortable ride. What I don’t like…….No blind spot warning lights in the mirrors. $86,000 for a vehicle without blind spot warning lights when my wife’s base model Jeep Grand Cherokee and my Chevy Silverado (A GM vehicle) has them. Terrible on Cadillac and a safety concern. No moon roof and no cooled seats for this model either. Overall, I feel this vehicle is overpriced for the lack of common options. If they were included, the vehicle would be a 9 out of 10.

Lincoln is better

2024 Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum 4dr SUV (6.2L 8cyl 10A)

I have both an Escalade and a Navigator. I would never buy another Escalade, it's too gimmicky. No grab handles, so you have to hang onto the steering wheel and the passenger grabs what ever they can find. The Lincoln has much better seats by far. More storage in the Navigator. The gas milage is way better than the Escalade. If you want to put on the over camera in a Lincoln, you just push a button, in the Caddy you have to go into a menu and look for the camera icon. At 400 miles the telescopic steering wheel stopped working as well as the navigation system. And Caddy's service is terrible. The car is beautiful, can't take that away from it. But the front has all the nice lighting and appointments, and the back passenger space has nothing.

Fantastic SUV

2024 Cadillac Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum 4dr SUV (6.2L 8cyl 10A)

We just got our 2024 Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum and it is stunning! We traded in a 2023 Tahoe Premier and the differences are amazingly in seat comfort, ride quality, and quietness. Those car review people on You Tube don’t know what they are talking about when some say a Tahoe or Denali is the same. They are not and you get what you pay for. We love the Air Suspension ride, Super Cruise, massage heated/cool seats. AR camera and audio enhancement. The rear seat entertainment system keeps the grandkids happy! The 6.2L has a lot of power and fun to drive. City MPG not so great but we got 21 MPH driving Dallas to OKC at 75 MPH. We got the Whisper Beige interior which is beautiful but will be hard to keep clean so if your ODC is get a darker interior. Interior room is amazing! You can’t believe how much you can put in here with all the seats down. Nothing will beat this car on long road trips!

2022 Escalade Lemon Engine

This vehicle has the very best comfort and ride especially on long trips. No complaints on the handling and sound AKG system is great! Its all the little things that are deficient. Poor exterior paint, leather is so fragile and tears from just a finger nail bump. The entire engine system has been recalled my GM and the electronic step up boards are always not working or not folding up properly. The pano roof has been adjusted twice and we still have horrible wind noise. Technology on this vehicle is overkill and not user friendly. Our lift gate makes creaking noises while driving and continues to leak even after cadilliac service attempted to fix twice. The worst thing is the huge depreciation on the value of this vehicle. Paying 150,000.00 for the plantium model and 3 years later it's worth under 60,000.00. Very disappointed to say the least!

Junk

Still a plastic wrapped Tahoe for 50k more. Nothing works well. The ride is awful. Absolutely awful. Even on the softest setting, you’ll be bouncing all over the road. You’ll feel every pebble and crack. Your passenger will complain. The seats are uncomfortable. The hvac is terrible and unpredictable. You’ll forever be searching for the source of cold/hot blowing air. The range is under 300miles. The plastic body parts wiggle and jiggle as you drive. The engine sounds like it’s from the 80’s. The “high end” sound system is mediocre at best. The back seats look like they are from a base level Tahoe. The wind noise is unbearable. The technology was clearly implemented by a 85 year old engineer who “didn’t have cameras on any of my Caddy’s”. You have to go to eBay to find compatible flash drive cards from 2008 and then find an old windows PC to format them. The app is slow and goofy and rarely works. The map software is antiquated - but required to be used for the fancy augmented reality feature (doesn’t work with Google or Apple Maps). Headlights are hated by all other drivers. The auto headlights are too slow to switch on/off. The solar glass is fake - you’ll want ceramic tint even if clear. Even the blinker makes a sound straight from a 1984 K car. The dealers are awful and usually have Cadillac as an afterthought. Ours told us that we should have bought two Tahoe level vehicles instead of a platinum Escalade. Things I like? The fold flat floor. If you’ve ever driven a Mercedes, BMW or comparable vehicle- then you will hate every minute of being in this vehicle. It is fake luxury in every way. The chrome peels. The wood is plastic. The panel gaps are huge. If you are upgrading from a Yukon or a caprice wagon, then this may feel like the cat’s meow - until you wife one day says, “I kind of exit to be smoother”
